I would say just pretend that there is no romance line between them. It's not hard as XS has never really treated her like one. It's only there for formality sake.

I saw a post from twitter that XS & WX is separated again & in the extra ep XS went to look for WX. Can anyone who has finished the drama gives a little context to WX & XS scenes?

XS is such a brilliant strategist. The way he managed to prevent bloodbath & cleared his uncle's name is nothing short of a genius. The other 2 princes cannot catched up to him.

Agree. So either XS has to take the throne or leave the imperial city altogether. As mentioned by someone, prince bai is very much like his father in personality. He will feel threatened if XS stays within court.

Actually Prince Langya cannot stay in the capital. It would create an opportunity for turbulence in imperial power down the line. Those that have their own agenda will use it & cause an internal war. Since prince langya & prince bai have no close relationship with each other, the end result is that they may kill rach other for different purposes.

The sword is an integral part of XS journey i'm sure it would surface. I personally want XS to take up the throne because he's the type of emperor that is needed but most likely will not change his mind

No, supposedly Bai Prince is a good guy. But at the end of yhe day, the dynasty is slowly dying because the chosen one by the heaven with actual talents did not want the throne leaving it to the much lesser talent such as XS's father & and now possibly XS's brother. Bai Prince would be a competent but a sitting prince. He may understand & possibly good with politics but has no skills or experience in war strategy. Tjis would be a huge issue should they encounter a competent enemies.

One can really tell the huge difference in intelligence & strategic mind between the 3 princes. Prince Chi & Prince Chong intelligence & strategic mind are still far from catching up with XS. If XS wants the throne, it's like grabbing candies from a baby. They would have no chance. For a taundere like XS, how is it possible that he can collect so many good friends that would literally die & love him so much. Ep 33 really showed the close brotherly relationship between XS and Lingchen.

I've never read the novel so I don’t know if his skill will be equivalent to the mentioned diety in the end but I am 100% sure not to the immortal diety like Mo Yi. But i read that he will inherit the #1 sword in the world so his skills might improved even more by then.

Lol not every main character has indestructible power. Besides Mo Yi is the closest to a deity & took him years to harsh cultivation training. I don't think XS is that motivated.

I personally like blood of youth better because the story is more in wuxia & politics than romance. Characters wise, I also prefer XS over the character in WRTW. I feel that he's a bit more strategic & more level headed.

I don’t agree with attacking actress for no reason. She lacks acting skill but that's fine because it's her first role. I have issue with the character not the actress. They force the romance without a proper romantic development between the leads. This applies to the donghua & not just live action.

I think people are questioning her role & purpose & how she fits in with the gang because she has no unique skills to call her own & also lack of chemistry with the gang. She's not smart like RY, nor knowledgeable like white tiger girl, nor skilled in martial art like LWJ. And in general XS doesn't seek her for any kind of support. She's just there as an average bodyguard but not a skilled one. I don't know what the author really want to do with her.

I think in a lot of cases, it's very appealing. However, it doesn't work in this case because the ML & FL has no sense of connection whatsoever. Her role literally has no serious impact in his life or decision. It's very hard to sell them as a viable couple and maybe that's where the hate for the character comes from.

Agree. I just don't see her growth. After so many things happened, why is the way she speaks & think still stop at the age of 6 years old. As the story progressed, the more you can see that QL is ill-suited for XS. Literally anyone is more knowledgeable than her. XS has no intellectual & emotional connections with her. If he wants to talk strategic, he goes to RY, goes to White Tiger for intel secret, takes LWJ if he wants a bodyguard & WX for deep emotional connections. So where exactly does QL fit in?

I have to admit WX & XS is a really worthy ship. They just clicked on every level. Ep 29th just proved how deep their connection & bonding are.

It might as well be because non of the female has any romantic chemistry with any of the lead guys.

WX first concern & thoughts are XS. LWJ is more of an after thought. XS treats LWJ like a little brother. But I just think that his under tone when it comes to WX is always with so much more intimate & deep.

Yes, he is the chosen one by destiny & apparently by the ONLY Emperor sword. By right, he should yake up the position but he chose not to. Same as his uncle. So disappointed.
