I have to give it to the actor's they are doing a pretty good job and drama is close to the orginal material so after finishing the drama you try reading the webtoon. ( Also yes a yellow and blue eyed cat is responsible for the time travel.)

From what I remember yes he returns back to the time when they first met and he tries Saving everyone but fails and falls into a vicious loop and has re live everything again and again. He starts slowly loosing himself. At some point in the loop jooan feels something is amiss... (sorry I forgot after that 😭😭)
