Please we can clearly see in the scene that Korn takes out his gun to shoot Win and that to defend him, Tonkla throws himself at Korn and he takes the bullet instead. I haven't watched the series but please don't shout about incest when it's not one. Incest is carnal relationship between two people of the same blood. Not mixing up please...and then best friends who live almost together and grow together of the opposite sex can't grow up and develop feelings and get together because that would be incest?

The evolution of Qian's character is so subtle that it must be guessed, suggestive, and almost subject to interpretation. This opens the door to multiple points of view. As for the preference for Yuan over Lily, honestly, I didn't see that. I think he put Yuan on the same level as his sister because he truly loved Yuan like a brother and didn't make a distinction with his biological half-sister... But maybe I'm wrong ???

However, the fact that he feels a void in his absence isn't necessarily tied to romantic affection. It's entirely possible that he's simply accustomed to his brother's presence since forever, as well as his constant care. But where does the nuance lie between Qian appreciating Yuan's affectionate gestures towards him because he's the one who's always taken care of him, and him appreciating it because he genuinely feels a romantic attraction to Yuan?

Moreover, I believe there's a big difference between feeling an attraction towards someone and being driven to act on it, and experiencing deep romantic feelings, as Yuan might feel...

I'm going to share my thoughts on this show. It's always interesting to have different perspectives on the same piece. Although I love this series, I want to offer my viewpoint to reconsider some things.

One day, while reading the comments, I came across someone who said it seemed like Qian finally gave in to Yuan because of his stubbornness. At first, I laughed, thinking that person definitely didn't watch the same series we did. But later, I started to reconsider the question, wondering if that person might not be entirely wrong. In fact, when we look closely at the last three episodes, we don't really have a justification from Qian for his decision to be with Yuan. It happens right after Qian gives an opening to Yuan, but ultimately, the conversation confirming that Qian really wants to be with Yuan and that he is also in love with Yuan in the same way never really happens. So, this question of whether it's a bit forced is legitimate, I think. Fundamentally, I find the ending a bit peculiar and quite bewildering, as if the series really gives the impression that Qian accepts Yuan in the end because he feels he has to, not out of conviction. He wasn't even sure of himself at the beginning of episode 11. Qian's confession is rather half-hearted, as he doesn't really say he wants to be with him, he just says okay to Yuan.
Because of this, we don't really understand when Qian considers the possibility that Yuan could be more than a brother. The transition from a brotherly relationship to a romantic one in the series is almost non-existent. It seems that this transition is little developed or even non-existent, which is quite troubling. I believe the relationship between Qian and Yuan should have been better built to make this evolution more natural and convincing. This would have clarified the motivations and feelings of the characters, especially Qian.
However, I'm not suggesting that the relationship should have remained purely fraternal. On the contrary, I think their love should have been more gradual and better developed. A better construction of this transition would have made the series more credible and strengthened the emotional impact of their relationship, while still respecting the initial dynamic between the two brothers. This lack of transition gives the impression that, in the second part of the series, Qian really wants their relationship to remain as it is.

I don't think everyone will agree with this opinion, but as I replay the series in my mind and watch the ending again, I can't help but think this.

Exactly ! My expectations for this scene reached the summit of Everest. And it’s a shame to have wasted such a scene when it’s simply the accomplishment of the last 9 episodes!!!
