I hate to see Park Sung Hoon in a negative light.🥺Still one of my fav actors.

Yeah that’s what I was trying to avoid, the wait. I was wishing for a quick wrap up of one event at a time as opposed to all at once.

What I signed up for and what I’m getting more of, is not good enough for my stress level. First I really thought it would be more of a romcom but not so much.
The mom is a toxic, manipulative, narcissistic, and just evil person. That’s why she pampers the son so much she’s literally clinging to her oldest child through him. There’s nothing wrong with grieving. It’s when your grieving starts to affect your living child(ren) in a negative way you then realize, you have a problem.
I still can’t understand how this entire family was bamboozled by a maid and a few money hungry adults that were once without connection. I really hope this part is wrapped up quickly. I mean to think a matchmaker/secretary would have that much access and the whole staff is in on it. Doubtful.
Now our loving confused couple. I say divorce and start over if you do make it. At this point she has become absent minded to her actions. She was a bully and her husband was petrified of her every action.
Someone please tell this family they have been bamboozled by the help and scholarship participants and it is not looking good.
Someone give me a (GUESSTIMATE ) timeline of events to unfold to settle my nerves.

Omg, I thought it was just me with the subs now. I’m so happy to know this. I watch everything now with subs. I was watching Five nights at Freddy’s with low volume and subs, my husband got frustrated and annoyed. It has become such a problem that now we literally have a smaller extra TV in our bedroom at home.😔😂 🤷🏽‍♀️

I’m on vacation trying to catch up with every K, J, C -drama that I was watching in the last few months but this one has had more downs than ups. I will come back at the end.

I am only replying to your response with my opinion, in regards to, your right to… I respectfully understood you wanting to give me a mini break down on the writing style used. It stemmed from my opinion given about the drama or am I missing something?.!? Your response was based off of an opinion I gave. So, I stated my opinion stands. Have a great day.

We have the right to disagree. I think the writing is very 90s MAKJANGS. I have been watching kdrama style soaps that are known as makjangs because of the over the top plots, since early 2000s. So, I am aware of the writing techniques used. This, again, is lazy writing on the writer’s part. MY OPINION stands. When the times change we all have been forced to adjust, whether it be career, life, family, etc, that does not exclude entertainment. A show can be ridiculously good while still maintaining the makjang style.

Me trying to find something to watch and went back to see if this was any better. I skipped nearly most of the season and yet they still have the Fl looking like some simpleton.
•The villains are still winning 2,760 minutes later. You see how insane that is?
•SC is the worse dad ever.
•Contract marriage should be voided since party A failed miserably in his contractual duties.
•SR only experienced 2 episodes of misery
•The chairman is just the typical villain father/husband/ uncle.

Is anyone else thinking 90s style of writing???

Uhm, I am a tad bit disappointed. You can’t end ep. 8 like that and then go mediocre on the following two. Although, I am happy to have two episodes in one day, it’s still a bummer. Please don’t let a moment like that be the only climax with six more episodes to go. This is something I didn’t realize I needed until now. Let me be honest, I’m really disappointed because I have to wait until next weekend to continue this love story. I feel like i was given a first row seat to a love story set in the Joseon Era.

So many emotions in the last 5 mins of ep 8. He had me 🥵 like whewwww. Great acting. The way he was able to convey so many emotions in that scene and yet every single one was believable. Lust. Love. Wanting. Hurt. Betrayal. Excitement. Omg did I miss one???!!!😅I watched that scene 5 times already. Going back for a 6th… it’s been a long time since I felt this excited about a character’s love story.

Didn’t Myung Ha act like she wrote the letter of false confession and that’s why the king was angry and felt betrayed? Did that part already come out? Also, I want to see at what point will they show he was aware she was not a man. Will they show him catching on to her sex when the physician came or is it when she fell into his arms after the injury? So many questions. 😭

I am glad that they decided on not dragging it out. If the remainder episodes are like the first three then I could stick around effortlessly.

I hopelessly checked in between shows to see if the elder/son duo have realistically made a connection. No, they have not. It will be episode 55-60 before that happens.

Writers need to be more creative and more open to casting rookie actors. In doing so, you have a fresh perspective through a better lens on such a ridiculous plot. It’s fairly impossible to picture an actress who has always been the catalyst in almost every series she’s played in as anything other.

Then you have this psycho mistress who thinks it’s someone else’s fault her life didn’t turn out the way she wanted so she steals one.

The dad will probably die from heart condition before they find out he’s the son.

Definitely a 4.2/ 10 stars
