Oooh FINALLY THE FULL 5 MINUTE HIGHLIGHT TRAILER!!!*goes to watch*
I watched the full video with subtitles, and this preview already highlights several similarities with the webtoon. I believe many people will be positively surprised.
Yeon Seo and Jin Hyuk said they are avoiding letting their moms watch the first episode because of the spicy scene 😹 Now I’m even more curious to see that chemistry explode. I believe the first episode could really gain a lot of popularity. 😹🤭👀🔥🔥🔥
I was wondering whether CJH would sing one of the OSTs for this drama in particular. Let’s see… I just hope it turns out to be something really beautiful and touching. lol
Some people got upset that Black Pink's Jisoo didn't get cast lol....Other names I've seen circulate is Cha Eun…
"Flower boys"? lol
I still can’t quite understand it, but everything you said makes complete sense. haha
I really like Choi Jin-hyuk’s image. His masculine and serious presence perfectly conveys the vibe of a responsible and mature man, which is exactly who Doo-Joon is.
Besides, Doo-Joon’s age in the original story is not very different from CJH’s age (34–39). People who call the actors “old” must be very young to see it that way. Anyway, there’s no point in continuing negative criticism about the casting. What’s done is done.
For those who are bothered by the changes in the adaptation and by the casting choices: the original writer of the story herself has said that she is satisfied with the choice of Choi Jin-hyuk and Oh Yeon-seo for the lead roles.
“Lee Jung shared her thoughts on the adaptation, saying: It is truly exciting to know that a drama is being produced based on the online novel that I myself wrote. I sincerely hope that the drama will be loved by viewers.”
Regarding the casting of the main leads, Lee Jung continued: “I was so excited because they are such famous actors, and I can’t express in words how grateful I am.”
... Above all, she praised the drama for capturing the charm of the original work. “I saw the poster and the previously released trailer, and I think they captured the vibrant charm of the original work very well.”
She added, “As the title suggests, ‘I Have a Baby’ depicts the process of a man and a woman dealing with their respective responsibilities in a situation whose outcome has already been determined. Rather than focusing on a possibly provocative one-night stand, I think it would be more interesting for viewers to focus on how a man and a woman deal with unexpected consequences.”
“Please show a lot of interest and affection for ‘I Have a Baby.’”
Since this is an adaptation, some changes are expected and usually happen for a reason.
Saying that the story was completely changed feels a bit exaggerated. The changes don’t seem that drastic; what mainly changed is that the FL’s profession influenced some settings and situations.
Judging the story only based on short clips feels too early. Even those who know the original story can’t be sure how the timeline will be handled in the adaptation. Clips don’t show the full picture.
Many people who are being critical will probably still watch it. It might be better to wait and see how the story develops before forming a strong opinion, since we don’t yet know how everything will turn out.

No, no! What I meant is that, judging by the teasers, they’ll be in the same place on two different occasions, and that their first night doesn’t seem to be the same one in which she’s wearing the black dress—but we’ll only know for sure when we get more details. I was wondering whether she’ll leave the two 50,000-won bills the next morning 🤔 (hopefully yes lol).
And I agree with you about the script quality. That’s also a concern of mine. On top of that, I worry about the essence of the original story—I’m afraid they might remove it. It’s complicated to already see so many people saying "they ruined their favorite webtoon.”.
I really hope they don’t disappoint us and that you’re absolutely right from the very beginning. 🥹💖.
It starts from the small things like the poster. It might as well be a damn good drama but if it strays from the…
I totally understand your frustration about the points you mentioned 🥲 I honestly don’t think the “dead brother” makes that much of a difference, since he doesn’t really have much influence in the webtoon anyway (except for the fact that Doo-Joon’s niece sees him as a father figure because her own father is absent — at least that’s how I see it). I also think they can easily adapt the part where Hee-won is judged for getting pregnant before marriage in this new context.
Don’t forget that in the original story, Doo-Joon is like the Vice-Chairman of the school where she works, so he’s also her superior 👀 That’s exactly why people start treating her differently after they announce they’re getting married.
I feel like the adaptation will end up being very similar to the webtoon, just adjusted to a different setting ✨
About both of them being against marriage in the adaptation — I get what you mean, but from what I’ve seen so far, it seems like only Hee-won is against marriage because of what she went through with her parents 💔 In the webtoon it’s pretty similar; the difference is that she doesn’t want a loveless marriage like theirs.
From what I understand, in the adaptation Doo-Joon will propose right after finding out about the baby 😳 but Hee-won will turn him down. So it’s very likely he’ll suggest dating first so they can get to know each other better before getting married 💕 — which is exactly what happens in the original story.
So yeah, I don’t think we need to worry too much for now 🥹 It really looks like things won’t go completely off track from the original storyline.

Apparently, their first night won’t be the same night when she’s wearing the black dress 👀🖤 (which is different from the original), but it doesn’t seem like they’ll be at a regular party, since they’ll spend some time together before the steamy night 😏🔥 hehehe
I can’t stop imagining how the whole storyline will unfold because I’m completely in love with the webtoon 📖💖 and I really love CJH and OYS too, so I’m SUPER excited and anxious to see everything 😭✨
I haven’t fully watched A Korean Odyssey, though.
And YESS!!! 😆🔥 The other day I saw a comment from OYS about Song Seung Heon. She said she didn’t feel comfortable flirting with him because she already knew him 😅 (something like that).
So it looks like for the first episode — and for such intimate scenes with lots of kisses 💋💋 — everything felt very natural for her 😂❤️ And apparently there won’t be any censorship 👀🔥 which is… exactly what we’re hoping for 🙏✨
I’m so jealous of them 🥹
If there’s one thing this manhwa is NOT, it’s boring! 🧐
I believe many people will be positively surprised.

What does ‘too old’ mean to you, guys? I really can’t understand!
Who would be the ideal actor or actress for the main characters?
We have so many specialists here. I got curious! 😒
