just finished ep 6 ... am loooooooving it such a loveeeely story i am sooo happy to see JT in such a fun and dynamic character (and he got a caaaaaaat, say no more) Meng Zi Yi's character is freaking entertaining (so good at acting she's acting)
Episode 11 was not bad at all. Finally our Crown Prince confronted his Father ( I consider that as good development for the character of Yi hwan ) and the consequences were obvious ( in some sense, it was necessary for Yi Hwan to understand that the king is a hopeless case ) and also he finally let go of those tears. He opened his heart and I expect that his vision will become clearer, the blur created by the "ghost Letter" will come off soon... he will find a way to twist the Right State Councilor's hand and breaaaaaaaak it ( now how to do that is why i am still watching )
I don't care about the romance as much as I care about the mystery behind the "curse" ( although, they revealed a lot in the latest eps but there is more for sure) and how "maybe" the Crown Prince will uphold justice for the ppl of "Byeokcheon" or the "Song family" . I liked the slow burn in building the conflict; things got so tense and maybe they will get waaay more tense and I hope they will find suitable way to twist the plot without making it blunt.
Why I don't care abt the Romance Part : well the FL seems confused and not really interested in love or marriage or she is not aware that she is in love with Yi Hwan, idk it's confusing. Her arranged marriage was but a "political marriage", turned out she was just compromising bcz there is no other option for her ; like working as an investigator. ML is catching feelings but he knows she is still his friend's fiancé. It's too complicated, let's see how they're going to deal with that.
I had a lil bit of hope , maaaaybe what Yi Hwan said will knock some sense onto that king but naah he's done for good.
I found this https://www.sto.cx/book-142290-1.html and am planning to read it using google translation extension, am just not sure about the translation.
This drama is triggering. FL divorced ML lead on grounds of cheating, but she has to be around him, be ok with…
I don't think the story is that simple, I am curious about the "cheating story" of the ML. In the 2nd episode, "every decision comes with a price and a payoff" he said that to one of the FL's friend who cheated on her husband. I think the ML is hiding something that might twist the whole story. Caan't wait for the next episodes. + the FL is already quite a badass at her job so it's only normal that she has flaws in her love life ( that shows balance to her character and gives an opportunity to develop ).
thanks
i love the drama tho
