People from Northeast China who watched Small Town Remedy are grateful to the production team. It's the first time they've seen a TV series that so realistically portrays life in Northeast China. It doesn't judge, take sides, lament, glorify, or sensationalize; it simply presents real life to the audience from an equal perspective. There's also a clear clash between old and new ideas.

Apparently in the past, Northeast China is commonly portrayed as the hub of criminal activities in TV dramas and movies . STR is a breath of fresh air for them.

That was gut wrenching, I bawled my eyes out …
Same. The scene was not long but it made me cry because of how sad it was. Now that we know it's based on a true story it's even more devastating. The drama really does well in showcasing reality, how the medical cases don't always end up on a happy note because real life isn't like that.

If you've watched the latest episode with the heartbreaking story of the couple with disabilities, I read the actress who played the deaf and mute wife said it was based on a real life story that the director found during his research for the drama. It was said on the day of filming, the actors were all very heavy-hearted, and many cried while listening to the director explain the scene. When I watched the scene I was thinking how it could be so heartbreaking, turns out real life is more devastating than a drama.

I'm really loving this drama, how Liu Zhengliang is on his healing journey and how he slowly embraces Xiaoximen and Fucheng while handling difficult medical cases. The romance is part of his growth arc so I don't see any problem with it. In episodes 11 and 12 we could see his feelings for Ai Chen shifted (without being forced) because of the qualities that she has but he doesn't have. The latest scene where they talked about how their work deal with life and death was very well-written and well-acted, there was no "forced" love whatsoever. People should at least watch the actual episodes first before passing judgement.

Should I watch this? I haven't watched any Asian drama since July. :(
Watch it, especially if slice of life and medical genre with comedic elements are your cup of tea. I'm already hooked.

I'm loving this drama so much. Slice-of-life and medical genre are my faves and this one exceeded my expectations to a T. I love how Liu Zhengliang is all bark with stoic face but has a kind heart. I was planning to watch only 2 eps last night but ended up finishing all 4 eps by morning because it's so good. The supporting characters are distinct and none felt like filler characters. The acting is also great!

Reposting Linmon Media's tweets for the people in the back with reading comprehension. It said on both solo trailer and character trailer that "Xiao Zhan is the leading starring role" and they only tagged Xiao Zhan.

Anyway, rumors said they will wrap-up filming in mid-July. Can't wait for filming wrap-up new materials!

Anyway, I'm so excited for Ten Days. The new trailer with the zodiac characters is so good. You can see how well-made it is. Even non-fans are excited and they even said they could see the drama's high budget from the high quality trailers 😄

Credits and billings should follow the OFFICIAL announcement. Since the start, it's only Xiao Zhan as the main role with single name announcement, the others are supporting roles/special appearances. Anyone with eyes can see the solo trailers and see who's the main lead.

I'm still laughing at how a few days ago the novel author pretended that he doesn't have info about the drama casting and then he was at the drama booting ceremony yesterday with perfectly fitted Li Ning jacket 😁

Tencent and Linmon are going to make a killing from the success of this drama with its three seasons. That’s…
@Cooloria
That guy was still groveling to produce a new season but Linmon didn't bother responding 🤣 Now that they have Ten Days to work on with the star-studded cast, they'll just focus on Ten Days and their other upcoming projects.

Linmon waited for Xiao Zhan's availability for their projects since 2023. Infinite 10 Days have been in the works since 2023 and the script has been polished for more than 2 years and they finally secured Xiao Zhan as lead actor in 2025.

Someone who is not the cast fans, not the drama fans, and not the novel fans trying to push the need "12 main…
Ignore the bitter and jealous clowns. We don't have issues with the other cast members, and the announcement only has Qi Xia and Xiao Zhan as the lead. The clowns on this page are jealous as hell it's not their gege who was cast as lead, so they're polluting this page looking like sour losers lol

Where are the TJC clowns who claimed he rejected the role? lol. When we said Xiao Zhan was the first and only…
They should focus on hyping their gege's idol costume romance drama instead of looking like bitter clowns polluting this drama page, a drama that was Xiao Zhan's from the start.

I love it when directors and even big boss of the film company coming out to say this about XiaoZhan. 🥹
They praised him highly as a professional and a dedicated actor and said that the cooperation with Xiao Zhan in A Small Town Remedy was very pleasant. He is their one and only Qi Xia 😍

Both bosses of Linmon Pictures in stated in their speech at booting ceremony that Xiao Zhan was the ONLY CHOICE for Qi Xia! Let it be heard loud and clear for the sour clowns in the back 😎 They have been polishing the script for more than two years, and finally managed to get Xiao Zhan on board.

Not my problem if you have reading comprehension.

No names were mentioned by XZ fan but some people chose to take a seat.

So you have read the book? Since you are giving us all here such an opinion.
One look at their watchlist and you'll see which Chinese actor dramas they rated 10/10 before they rated TU 😆

Don't bother reading their biased comments, especially someone who didn't even bother reading the novel yet already here with the plot bashing.

Why are y’all going feral over rumors like they’re confirmed facts? An X post or a Weibo whisper is not a…
The ones who went feral weren't us, it's the TJC fan on this page who went around insulting people and spreading rumors about XZ because they couldn't handle receipts. I was giving an example how Linmon execs publicly stating that XZ is the only choice for another project, something the unhinged person claimed to be impossible.

Of course Tencent couldn't come out with an official statement right now because the project isn't officially released yet, but people familiar with Weibo knows that it's pretty much an unofficial claim from them since all the hot searches are from Ten Days official weibo and Tencent-related marketing accounts. The barrage of high hot searches related to XZ and Ten Days a few days ago weren't them simply "floating a name", anyone familiar with Weibo marketing knows they're making an unofficial statement (which is largely due to outside camps spreading rumors about their project).

XZ's fandom is the most familiar with "nothing is confirmed before official announcement" because there are a lot of companies that use XZ's name to heat up their projects, so we can tell the difference between unofficial claim (like what Tencent did with XZ and Ten Days) and others that use XZ's name for hype. We know best how marketing works in C-Ent, I don't know why other fandoms always act like XZ fans don't have access to Chinese social media.

The unhinged person is still terrorizing people because they can't handle reading receipts being thrown at them and is now hurling malicious rumors and insults. I'm not going to entertain the long-ass repetitive drivel from a butthurt person who can't deal that their fave failed to get the role.

I almost feel sorry for TJC having a raging lunatic like this as his fan, but hey. It's not my problem.

Looking forward to the official announcement of Ten Days' Ultimatum!
