I think she is from the class of 2017 batch , and later in the year of 2018 she signed with her current company DONGSHEN. She graduated from Beijing film academy in 2021. Her first drama was released in 2020 RUN FOR YOUNG and first movie was released In 2021 LOVE WILL TEAR US APART.
Till episode 6 it is showing in nice pace how will they be interlinked ,& about their life and all. So can’t say i see no romance because the story build up should be good for the romance to bloom. It has just started so can’t say much, only after finishing this drama can I be able to say regarding the story. They said the book and drama have differences, so it will be quite change.
I noticed in some scenes of jingyi that the stylist did her unfair . Her hairstyle of half ponytail seems so tight that the scalp is literally visible and the other thing is the dark type lip colors that they used on her is not good , she looks better in other colors . Normally she looks so beautiful with or without makeup be it on or offscreen but I’m really not satisfied with this drama styling of some looks of jingyi.
I think it’s her charm and beauty that saved the looks so far.
Well these are all my personal opinions about drama, no hate or anything but just hoped that it could have been better.
Anyway I hope jingyi will be strong enough to have much more say in her work ,because as I see , her style of preferences are much cool and better.
Is it fully based on the novel or there will be changes? I heard people were complaining regarding that some cast not be appropriate according to novel. Well Whatever ,for me everything looks good so far , I haven’t read the novel but looking at the trailer it seems good , the cast are also quality actors so I believe their performances will be good. After so long my wish to see Zhang jingyi and linghe in the same frame will come true,eventhough Zhang linghe is guest role but it will be great to see them together
For me among all lixian and Zhou Dong Yu pair would be great to see. They will be great to see together. And if I have to pick among the young actors ,I would love to see Zhang jing yi and wu lei the most.Actually Zhang jingyi paired up with anyone you can undoubtedly see the chemistry flowing but idk why when I think of Zhang jingyi with Wulei , I believe it will hit different, like we will get to see another level chemistry . Wulei and Zhang jingyi are the two actors that gives vibes like what an actor should be like .when I see them off screen or on screen they are always so humble, low key type . They are among the few young actors in Chinese industry that I appreciate for their acting, personality, genuineness, their attitude towards their work. So I would love to see them work together .
The poster is giving me A DATE WITH THE FUTURE vibes , the main leads look when they look at each other in the trailer (when the heroine was sitting & turned her face back )gives me DOTS vibes and overall dramas gives me ANGEL EYES vibes 😂
I am watching her drama have a crush on you . I’m liking it. She is good and beautiful actress kinda give LYF vibes (personal opinion) . well idk much about her performances as this is my first time watching her .At first I thought she was 90s liner actress because she looks so matured but I found that she is from 99 liner . Such a refined beauty with good acting skills actress deserves to be recognized earlier as she seems to have debuted much earlier years in 2016/2017. I wonder why such delay , anyway I would love to see her more.
At first I thought she looked similar to Zhang jingyi but after watching her more I find no common thing about them in terms of looks . Rather I found her and Zhou yutong kinda similar in terms of looks because of their overall appearance. Just my opinion 😌

Yeah I also don’t think that gao was even a genuine friend to lixun .he does wrong to lixun because of his own low self esteem and after everything he expects lixun to ask forgiveness to him. Nonsense!! For me The lead chemistry and their love story is the main thing that kept me all the way in this drama . But the rage I felt moment to moment in this drama made me realize how much I was hooked on the show that I hated some characters and the love I felt seeing the lead characters in love. Everyone performance were great that made it realistic although some unsatisfying writing .

I also don’t watch novels before drama but idk why I got so hooked on this drama that even after finishing watching this drama I wanted to read it’s novel. As I was also not satisfied with few events from the drama so after I read the novel on Wattpad I was like thankgod they made the best of novel in drama in terms of plot and all. But one thing I found common in watching drama and it’s novel is every action of theirs are reasonable. In my understanding of drama and later reading in novel I found that lixun didn’t do much in revenge to gao but he never forgives him and lixun he realize by being with zhuyun that he should focus on his own better future and his dream .although he left his revenge incomplete for the sake of old friendship too. But at the deathbeds, lixun in novel says to his son that he shouldn’t waste his time in useless &non important people as there would be many in life. Rather give time to only those who you love , and who loves you. Secondly, lixun relation with zhuyun parents was shown as realistic which made it better because if there is sudden positive change then it would seem so unrealistic considering their personalities. I felt rushed in the drama of all that but tbh it was indeed the last talk between them . In novel it was pretty harsh, lixun was never allowed to enter in zhuyun house even after they got married and had three children’s. In new year eve he would wait outside in car and zhuyun would come with her son after they all fall asleep.
But all to all lixun and zhuyun love were always strong. They hold their marriage in abroad when their youngest daughter was 5years in presence of their all 3children ,which was so cute to imagine😭.
Well these are all my opinions, there were other moment too which I didn’t like in drama the breakup part and humiliating zhuyun but all to all they sticked to their characters personality and it was showing kinda love story of perfectly imperfect guy and a sweet naive but strong minded girl love story. Their love was great for each other , they remained true ,genuine to each other though they don’t say. I wrote kinda long saying my points😅

Yeah there were those moments but compared to the novel I think they did great with the revenge part, the jail time gap and with parents scene too. Because in the novel it wasn’t much satisfying plus nerve wrecking too with the mother . So I guess they did better to make those scene better than novel by revising in the epsiodes.

She is not a high traffic actors with great background but a new face in the industry starting to getting recognized by her works. l&p is considered dark horse drama of 2022 because neither actors are high traffic but still broke records and expectations from viewers. So even though it’s popularity or promotion wasn’t exaggerated just because they don’t have that much fame presently but I personally think that it really showed me that with good acting actors ,whatever content project it is it can be really good to watch . Because these few years most of cdrama were cringy and all about more kisses in romance than better plot. I like the fact that they made the drama even more interesting by deducting the novel unnecessary parts, the thing you hated about novel they didn’t let those happen in drama.
