In few scenes they showed how they lived together and also had close moments with each other. But then later Ranjoo lost her popularity and worth, so the pres kicked her out. hence, the love-hate relation. imo and why does she keep going back to him ? at first it was for herself since as you may have seen it, their contract was still going on and one of the condition was that if Ranjoo is able to sell 20 M albums then she'll get half of the company shares. then later ****spoiler of ep 9,10***
