I personally think he was his friend when he was young and Alex and Nil said Alan 'created' him in his head only because they didn't know about Nate (Alan never talked to them about Nate). And the fact that he appeared at the end when Alan died, I think Nate perhaps died when he was young.

when Alan remembered everything and then when Win appeared through his window, I actually thought that Alan forgot everything again (because during Alan's conversation with his son and Dr Nil at the cemetery, the two revealed to Alan that this is actually already the 4th time they have shown him his own video because this whole process of him forgetting everything and then remembering it already happened fourtl times) and that the series would end in suggesting that Alan would continue to go through these loops of remembering and then forgetting everything again.I agree, I think Alex and Nik just didn't know about Nate

I'm sorry to hear your mum had dementia 😞 Throughout the whole series (actually looking back at the previous episodes now that I know that Alan actually had Alzheimer's) I was thinking - wouldn't it have been better to gently and slowly tell Alan everything, remind him of everything and that he, in fact, is the old man? Instead of keeping him in the dark and as a result he was scared and frustrated and kept thinking that people are scheming against him.

the man probably knew Alan, maybe it was his friend or former patient, so when he saw Alan he recognised him, but as Alan did remember anything it was confusing to him that the man knew him

This was a beautiful last episode. I cried like a baby for several minutes nonstop during the scene when Alan finally learnt the truth and remembered everything. The old gentleman that played the aged version of Alan is such a great actor, the scene was done so well. I loved this series, it's definitely one of the most interesting BLs out there as it deals with psychological topics. The series also made me think about Alzheimer's a lot, how sad and tragic it is that this is what it's like inside a person's mind when they have Alzheimer's. Thank you to the whole cast and crew for this beautiful series! ❤️❤️

we only have one episode left next week. Last week I accidentally read one spoiler comment so now I know who the old man in the mirror is (not saying though) and what's wrong with Alan and it just makes the whole series so much more interesting and thought provoking. Now that I know those things it also makes me want to watch the whole series again because all the conversations and events in the series had hints about it.

sadly it seems like a lot of BL fans are uninterested in more thought provoking BLs. This is such a good series!

I read a spoiler by mistake last week so I already know why Alan is the way he is and I know who's the old man in the mirror and I don't know if the ending will be sad but once you guys find out who the old man is next week, it will definitely be super thought provoking (but I admit, probably a little sad and tragic too). It's a great BL though, it's so good that they made a BL about this topic
