I think you misread my comment, I said overpower not overshadow. Song Joong-ki is a phenomenal actor, and overshadowing him is no easy feat I know that. by overpower, I meant that Ok tacyeon played his villainous role with such raw passion that he truly proved you can 'never judge a book by its cover. his sudden transformation from a clumsy goofy intern in to a chilling psychopath was the ultimate turning point of the show that left everyone absolutely stunned.
There is no doubt that many great villains have appeared in korean dramas, but when it comes to 'one of the greatest villains', ok taecyeon has no match. bro did not just play the character of jang han seok, but immortalized it forever his transformation was gorgeous. on the screen he created a ruckus with his smile and by speaking english full of swag in between, no amount of praise is enough for acting of that level. I haven't seen 'Blossoms of Power' yet, so I can't speak to the story, but this often happens with jeremy his characters are so deep and emotional that the audience begins to feel a connection with them. regardless of the script, jeremy always wins hearts with his acting.
