Dramas like 'Between Him and Her' and 'The Third Charm' are proof that the breakdown of a long-term relationship and leaning towards a new partner is not a new concept however in an attempt to do something different, this writer has made the characters so toxic and confused that it's impossible for the audience to connect with them. One cannot justify such terrible writing by lowering the high standards of korean drama screenplays just in the name of it being 'fresh'.

Calling absolute trash 'complex' and 'fresh' doesn't make it art it just shows how low your standards are. there's a fine line between 'doing something different' and writing pure garbage, and this writer clearly failed both. 🗑️
