Lol this was such an epic waste of time. The verbally abusive/negligent husband, manipulative bitch, and mama’s boy all get their happy endings. Buuuut none of our MCs truly do, and we have to believe that even though nothing worked out they’re happy with their current lives: because people who cheat are bad people and don’t deserve sufficient happiness. I’m donnnnne with this anachronistic bs. Yes. It’s mean of them to betray those who trust them. Yes. They messed up. But living in those toxic relationships was hardly better than what they did. I feel irritated that the spouses didn’t also get retribution. If you’re going to punish one side for wrong doing then punish the other side too. The manipulative bitch knew she wasn’t pregnant and put up an act only to divorce anyways. The mamas boy may have not slept with his hoobae, but his mom knew and we knew he was emotionally cheating; he treated his hoobae like a human and his wife like some household appliance. And last but not least, the negligent husband, while it wasn’t explicitly shown, definitely had something going with that au pair he hired. So what happens to their crimes? Why do they get children and loving spouses while the MCs retreat into the background and live quiet, just okay lives? No. Just no.
