Maybe, this drama is not just everyone's cup of tea.

I love fast-paced dramas... They keep me engaged...

Also, I don't have a lot of time for watching so having the story move a little fast than usual do help me experience entertainment within that time...

Overall, i really love the first episodes and I am hoping for a good ones too in the future.

How does it became a cheaper version of goblin?

So far so good! Watch it and see if you'll like it too. You can drop the drama if you felt bored anyways.

In my case, who have dropped any series i tried watching within the first 15 minutes for the past months, it's entertaining.

The chemistry of the leads are also great!

I loved Goblin, but after watching the first episode, the only thing that reminded me of Goblin was the grim reaper thing, and that's it. There were other dramas with grim reapers too, so I don't think having one in a fantasy-romance series deserves to be labeled a "cheaper version of Goblin." I never once thought that this was the cheaper version of it. It's a cruel comment, to be honest.
 
Also, it took me months to find a drama that will keep me hooked the entire first episode and I am really happy I watched this. For me, the pacing was good enough to keep the viewers interested. The scenes and the lines were understandable too. The acting was great, the story so far is great, and I am looking forward to what it's about to give its viewers for the upcoming episodes. 
 
Also, even if it's cliche, so what? Cliches are good for some... Sometimes, we need it. 

Lastly, don't watch if you think it's a waste of your time and try to avoid spread negative comments too. Let's give more chances for the dramas to be watched and let others experience the episode then judge it themselves whether it's good or not.
