Production can cover a lot of things, including writing the script to looking for funding. Filming started in September 2022 and finished at the end of that year. For 2018, Darren Chen would have been filming for Meteor Garden at the beginning of the year and the rest of the year he was contracted for the F4 tour and sponsor events until March 2019.

It may continue changing until someone picks it up. I saw a Weibo post back in October that it was coming out in May but I can’t find any confirmation.

I don’t think a release date has been officially announced. Back October there was it was mentioned on an entertainment news Weibo account that that series would be released in May. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find an alternative reliable confirmation or the source the date came from. Hopefully, it will drop in May because it certainly has been sitting on a shelf for too long.
