I don't know if I'm the only one, but I think the scene between the brothers are funny, but at the same time I don't like them because I want Noa to go with the SML. But if the two guys are becoming friends, « the brothers », is going to be difficult to her dating the SML, or maybe her boyfriend going to improve, but I don't know. I don't feel it.

I saw that many people were upset about the breakup, but I think it made sense because it’s highlighted how much cultural difference can affect a relationship.

Cultural difference is not only about language, food, holiday, or tradition. It goes much more deeper. It's include social manner, communication style, expedition in dating, and even the way people express love and handle conflict. And those differences are going to be seen in the relationship, especially if you live in each other's country.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I feel Korean dating culture can sometimes be stricter with stronger expectation about loyalty and emotional reassurance, (constantly texting your partner, talking to your exes, or being friends with the opposite gender). Meanwhile, Japanese dating culture seem to be more reserved and discreet.

As much as Rin is annoying me, I totally understand why she was upset at the restaurant. But I also think she need to understand that she is living in Japan and that there are different social norms. So Taiga was not dismissing her feeling, but he was respecting the social norm.

I also think that Rin may have projected Korean dating expectation into Taiga. She expected him to express his love in the way she's wanted. Her friend warned her in the beginning that Japanese men tend to be quieter and more reserved with their emotion.

I think we also have to understand that sometimes loving someone means letting them go. And Taiga is not saying that he doesn't love her, but he's showing that he love her enough to let her go so she can pursue her dream. We have to take in account his past with track.

I really don't think the breakup is pointless or unnecessary to the storyline, it’s just realistic. 🤷🏾‍♀️

I hope they could get back together after truly understanding how much culture and different life experience can affect a relationship and also learn not just to communicate, but to understand each other better (especially Rin).

I think I will be the only one to have this opinion on the show, but I'm a bit disappointed. It started well, but didn't end the way I was hoping, expected. As some people said, the main lead couple did take a long time to get together. And for me, the plot of Oat being in love with Boss could be great, if it were not rushed. I think the office romance would be great if it were pushed a bit deeper. Also, why didn't we get any kisses between Jued and Boss? I'm not familiar with Thai drama, so please explain to me if I'm missing something, some information, or some context. I was hoping for more lovely moments between Jued and Boss, but I remained hungry.

I agree with everyone about the fact that Xia Jiao and Qiao Hap get too much screen time and I think it's meaning that they're going to have a link with the female and male leads and I hope from the depths of my heart that it's not going to be Xia Jiao going to Xu Kaixin and ask forgiveness and Xu Kaixin forgives her and they become besties again. No, please, no.

Another thing that I can't get off of my head is when Xia Jiao say that she don't remember cheating on her husband because she was drunk and when she woke up it just happened. It's is not the description of a rape ? Bcs if she don't remember, if she was too drunk to remember, it means that she was also too drunk to give consent ?? I fell everyone are getting over this fact. Yes she's a bad person, she's a bad friend but still that doesn't mean that she deserves that.

And for Qiao Hao, I don't understand why he's shocked to be cheated on when he did it himself too. It's just a test of his medicine.

I am at episode 20 and I still can’t stand Hae Ri. She’s so mean. I don’t understand how Woo Jae can date her. I like trope like the opposite attract each other, nice guys with “mean” girl, but she's not that. She is just detestable! He's okay to date a woman who didn't care to see a man die in front of her (I don't say they should have go save him but at least be empathic) and when she faced the widow she being an absolute despicable person. The way she’s belittle Woo Jae like he is not enough (I understand we don’t live of love and fresh water but their some way to say it without doing class comptempt).

I also think Hae Joon’s mom should have been her, they share the same meaness.

BYJ is brazen to say that Da Rim is out of the league for his son when she is the daughter of loan sharks. Money doesn’t make all your status… Acting like she is the daughter of a chaebol, her wealth is from dirty money, so please be mindful.

I felt bad for her when she was saying to Gang Ju "I am your mom, not her", but the other voice in my head said "Act like one" and my pity did slightly go away.

There are some things I don’t understand with the investigation. The police and BJY know it was not the grandparents nor the mom who stole the money from the safe, but they act like it is. There are so many things that can make this judgment dull, the first thing that came to my mind is the dashcam footage. If I remember well, it was his car, no ? So it obtaining evidence illegally… Judgment canceled because of Procedural defect.

Thoughts on episodes 29-30:I kept saying that I would feel extremly bad for Ji Yeon If at the end she wouldn't…
I agree with you about the fact that Gang Ju did not betray his mother. Yes, he was trying to save Da Rim and her family. But, since the beginning, he has been trying to save his mother. But his mother was too obsessed with the money to see what a son was doing for her. She didn't care about the fact that her actions would hurt the company, the company where his son worked and was going to inherit.

I thought I was the only person hating on the mother-in-law of Mu Rim, but I see I'm not. Yes, it's her job, but they are her family, at least, her daughter's family. But she couldn't care less. She didn't even try to understand the situation before arresting Bong Hwi. No, nothing. And she was laughing and screaming at her face like she was an unknown criminal for her. This is crazy. Even after everything is sorted out, I can't think you can live in peace with someone like this. Because for me, that means she never considered me or my son as a family.

As I am mad at Tae Woong, I don't think it's the one who doesn't deserve Cha Rim, but it's the other way. Yes, If he did give the money for Da Rim surgery everything would not happen. But the fact that Cha Rim comes to him to ask him for money, when since the beginning She constantly shows that love equals money for her. I can understand that he didn't want to give her the money, but as he knows her and everything, he should have at least tried to know the reason why she wants the money.

Bong Hwi is the one who has to make the biggest apology to Gang Ju because she's hurt this man so far, especially with the son situation, trying to replace him with Tae Woong. Even though she did all that, he still tried to save him. (I know he does it because he loves Da Rim and she loves her mother so much).

Oh my god, yes, I want so much the two mother to be friend, especially when we did get the scene in the car at the first episode.

Episode 30:

For me Gang Ju he’s the best character in the show and the family owes him an apology when the truth comes out. Burning the 3 million was not intentional, the hate he gets is unfair. He’s done so much for this family. I really like him.

I don't have too much to say to Da Rim, I like her too, and her relation with Gang Ju. I really liked when she was playing "hard-to-get", when in fact she was mad in love. I hope to see more lovely-dovely scenes between the two, especially in front of the people who are against their relationship.

I really liked Tae Woong initially, but I despise his behavior over the biological and adoptive son situation.

I didn’t like Cha Rim At first, and I still don't like her. She is too materialistic, almost like a gold digger (pls don’t attack me, Cha Rim lawyer 🙏🏾). I mean, if she was just materialistic, it would be okay, I would even like her. But the fact that she constantly swung at Tae Wong face that’s he’s poor and was playing with his feelings, I can't. Her sudden interest in Tae Woong after learning he’s rich is frustrating. So yes, I skip all their romantic scenes.

The chairman is an asshole, throwing his adoptive son and right after taking his biological son was cruel. As he could just take both of them as his sons, he's rich enough to take both of them, especially since they are grown adults. And what hurts more is when the mom highlights the fact that’s his never cared about Gang Ju's taste but does for Tae Woong.

And since we talk about her mom, I want to say that she's annoying. Her obsession with money and her condescending attitude toward Da Rim and her mom are unbearable, especially given the fact she married poor too.

And finally, the son Mu Rim and… his mother-in-law. But first, let's start with the son. Why he didn't think of a way to save his mom ? Please, use your fucking brain. He was willing to put his mother in jail. He didn't even think of any other solution, it was his first choice. Don't you think it's crazy? Tae Woong punching him felt deserved.

And to end this essay, the mother-in-law. The nosy mother-in-law ! Since the show started, she did tell us that she was nosy as fuck. Like, please, I can understand that with your job, being nosy is a habit. But please, sit back down and mind your fucking business !!

Anyway, it's all for me, and I'm excited to see the next episode!

Why her siblings are so mean to her? I understand the frustration of being a glass child but they are so horrible with her, like she is not already living hell.

I find her brother insufferable, same with the sister.

Ep.10When did Gao and Nan get back together ???
This detail is bugging me. Since he left for Hong Kong, we didn’t hear about him. No calls no texting with Nan. I know it’s not someone who is caring, but still. I think he thinks that they get back together because it happens so many times that they break up and go back together that they think that is going to be still the same so he didn’t really care about what Nan said. So she’s not cheating because they are not in a relationship anymore.

I also want to add that if he thinks that they are back together is an asshole. Because he didn’t improve on the things she was confronting him.
