Title War of Faith
I've really enjoyed the first 22 Episodes of War Of Faith, but is anyone else annoyed at the introduction of Wei…
Wang Yibo was never a 'wooden' actor. Some people who only saw him in less expressive roles like in Cql or Luoyang decided to label him although it depended on the character type. Let's be real, his 'acting switch' didn't get turned on in War of Faith. He already has shown excellent acting in his three movies filmed prior to War of Faith. He got Golden Rooster Awards nominations for Hidden Blade and One&Only, with both roles being praised by industry professionals.

Title War of Faith
I watched another Chinese drama that dealt with the same subject. This seems like a remake of that drama. I think…
Firstly, most republican dramas deal with espionage, however War of Faith is an original script with unique banking/economical theme besides espionage theme and it's definitely not a 'remake'. Secondly, your narrow-minded views and weird bias aren't the actor's problem but yours. Deal with it or leave, but don't think that the actor 'should' adjust to your close-mindedness regarding his career path and the projects he chooses.

Title War of Faith
I really like WRL's kind of ML - unassuming and quiet but actually smart, thoughtful, high EQ, and the list goes…
If you enjoy War of Faith, I think you could try out the movie Hidden Blade, it's also set in Republican era and Wang Yibo got nominated for Golden Rooster Award with his role there.

Person Wang Yi Bo
it's his choice. he is free to choose his own roles and he just probably don't want to do idol dramas anymore
It's just a baseless assumption and I'm not sure exactly what's the issue if he's actually thriving as an actor. Getting nominated for a top prestigious award and a Chinese equivalent of Oscar, movies shown all around the world, not to mention that he's currently filming an art film. One & Only isn't a propaganda movie at all, and Hidden Blade has a great artistic value.

Person Wang Yi Bo
I wish his management company would stop casting him in these ultra-nationalistic roles. Like, I get it that he’s…
First of all, YH has no say in what projects Yibo chooses. Secondly, did you watch Hidden Blade? Even though it could be considered as a 'nationalistic' movie, it's in fact a literary movie with great artistic value where he played an unique, multilayered and morally gray character and that role gave him a Golden Rooster nomination at the age of 26. Currently he's filming an art film. Also, did you watch One & Only? It's a dance/sports/comedy/drama genre. Why not check it out instead of complaining?
