I thought the final episode was the best one, we finally got the love confession from the prince that we had been waiting for. I know many were dissatisfied with this series, but it is one of my favorites of the year so far. I loved both of the leads. I wish it had more romance between the leads, but I won't fault the drama as a whole because of it.
I think that the start might have been off putting to some so they decided not to continue.
I agree. That's why I usually watch the first few episodes before deciding to drop a drama, because more than a couple start off rough but end up being good.
I'm surprised there are so few watchers, this is a great series. It's funny, with great action scenes and the leads fit together so well. It started out a little goofy, but it just gets better.
I'm glad I continued watching because the first episode didn't grab me, it got much better afterward. The actors and characters are awesome, while the storyline entertaining.
I will continue watching this series, but I think it has hit a slump. I expect it will pick up again soon. Overall, I still give it a good rating. At least we now have a clear background on both of the leading characters.
Me... "I shouldn't watch the episode tonight because I know it's going to end with a terrible cliff hanger." Also Me: "What? She's dead. No, don't pick up that knife!! Noooooo.... " I hate that they added an additional framing to the story and such a sloppy job of it. I still enjoyed the episode up to that point. Oh, and this is still one of my favorite costume dramas of 2023 as long as they do not blow it at the end.
😭😭😭😭 I wish their leader could have survived for season two. I imagine in the next one they will be one of the leading troops. They now understand the aliens better than the adults.
I think I may drop it. I don’t think I can watch despicable characters like that.
I was with it until he told the grandmother he would be her good little puppet and the FL let her brother and mom walk all over her. She is the bread winner for the family, and they don't seem to respect her as an adult at all!
It's a decent drama but I don't think I can keep watching because I can already tell that the leads are going to roll over and take a lot of slaps to the face without fighting back. I can't stand that.
I'm so glad the FL told her former boss and coworker off; I hope she does the same to her brother if he has the nerve to be judgmental toward her. At least so far both leads have a backbone.
