I am not a fan of toxic relationships BUT what made this drama good for me was the chemistry between the leads and the friendships portrayed.

true. one of the rare cdrama idol actor who exudes manliness. I crave MANLY auras in idol dramas but i rarely find one T_T. I am glad he delivered.

A lot of idol actors look lanky, skinny, flower boy type that i kind of do not vibe with. I hope they add more wight and muscle.

modern dramas have small budgets. It really depends on the actor if he/she wants to use his/her resources. I also hear Lusi used her own wardrobe for her last modern drama.

the cinematography of this drama is beautiful. So far only two historical dramas caught my eyes visually, Pursuit of Jade and this.

they dragged the relationship a bit too much before the break up. I wish they broke up around 15 eps so that the reconciliation and angst would be explored better.

This is why I hate the fanservice promos of idol cdramas. It fuels the delusions so much. They could just do normal promos like interview or photoshoots.

sure I'll try to track if I'm not busy. First frost's highest rank was 6th while POJ was 5th. So before early spring, POJ had the highest rank. As for views, it is still POJ.

POJ was the highest (5th global Non E) but Early Spring dethroned it for the highest rank. POJ still the highest viewed cdrama in netflix, let's see if it will change these coming days.

This is personal to me because I once found myself in a vague, undefined relationship, a grey area where communication was poor and clarity was nonexistent LMAO. I was in my early 20s, still learning how to navigate adulthood, and it lasted about a year before we finally parted ways. (it ended well. We were able to talk).

I gained valuable lessons from that experience, but one thing’s for sure: I would never, ever put myself in that kind of situation again lol it was a lesson learned, with a laugh.

So far, Pursuit of Jade, Love Story in the 1970s and Splendid Match are my faves this Year.

Censorship definitely watered down this drama. 😆 it could be spicier and steamier.

I just found out that this cdrama had an intimacy coordinator. Finally! No more awkward love scenes in cdramas!

That’s why the execution was sooo goood and natural. The actors were comfortable.

Cdramas excel in modern mature dramas. I hope more modern cdramas can have this type of genre and not the annoying cutesy type ones. I LOOOOVVVEEE the tension
