What was your first impression of Yan Zijing? Now that you've finished, has it changed? When I first saw the script, my first thoughts were: I like it. I can do it.
I've previously portrayed some complex roles but Yan Zijing is a little different. When I opened the script I felt like each page had "HATE" written on it. The pages are light but the story is heavy. I could completely empathize with the character and hate with him. Losing his family. Losing his lover. Even his own life. He deserves to hate. But his hatred is not only for himself. He hates the LiLong bandits who killed his parents. He hates the injustice of the trade. Hates the suffering of the people. Everything is worth hating.
So, he must be "ruthless". Hate is in his blood. Ruthlessness is the body he carved with every stroke. They say that only a ruthless heart can achieve great things and this is true for Yan Zijing. But the truly ruthless people are only ruthless to themselves. Yan Zijing's requirements for himself are harsh. He doesn't allow himself to expose his emotions, cannot have any weakness, nor does he dare to rely on others or expect any hope. He's so ruthless that he uses himself as a chess piece.
In this chess game of life and death, Yan Zijing took his hate to an extreme. He's very smart, very calm, and very capable. But he's also very willing to leave behind the little he has left to the one he loves. Between the moves, he only focuses on one thing with no distractions. That is what I admired most about him and want to achieve the most myself.
From the sea to Yang Zhou, the journey was very long yet also very short. Yan Zijing lived a life worthwhile. I understood everything about him.
Thank you to everyone who participated. Thank you for accompanying me on this journey. I see it all. Small clarification: Yan Zijing's mouth isn't smeared in toxic. You can't revive him by watching ads. LYN didn't reserve all the blood bags in Hengdian (the place where most dramas are filmed).
So did Yan Zijing go to outer space? Raise your head. Take a look.

Just saw a rumor for AJTL 2 , Is this true?https://koalasplayground.com/2024/11/26/linmon-pictures-to-produce-a-follow-up-drama-to-a-journey-to-love-with-liu-shi-shi-and-liu-yu-ning/amp/
there's been rumors that they'll be making a spin-off with a different story in the same world but the cast and charas will likely all be different
whoever the scriptwriter for the latter half of this drama is I hope they don't write anymore until they learn to write better......and like sad endings is fine but the way they execute it is πππππWe pretty much all know YZJ is gonna die, the only option is he dies at home or away from home. it's like they have no confidence of how to end it the best way so they chose the worst way.
I knew that Yan Zi Jing will die. They just doesn't want the watchers to go crazy by showing it in the drama.…
i felt like they could have shown it . they literally made us see him suffer from pain and poison for so many eps ... like lemme just see him rest in peace at the end sheesh
Yes, I would like Ning Ge to star in a comedy-drama.ππ I assume you also watched the video "The Liu Group's…
i hope he gets that type of drama too... most of his charas are so tragic right now. either chara background is super tragic or just love life ... it always feels like he's giving more than he gets back. sighs. when will i get a drama where he can be prioritized.
Im on ep 24 and these old men are pissssing me offfffd like crazy. I hate how they look down on the fl all because…
i think everywhere in the world has a history of women having no rights or extremely unequal rights. even tho this is just a fictional drama but characters still have to retain some realism when u choose to do this type of setting, u cant just have some powerful female business owner and all the characters see's it as normal.
I love watching his livestreams. Idk how he does it. I've followed lots of livestreamers/v-tubers but I lose attention in not even an hour... but for LYN I can watch up to 5hrs straight. And all he does is chat and sing. I can barely sit through 2-3 eps of drama nowadays but I can watch 5 hrs of just LYN talking.
I can properly chat about Yan Zijing in full now.
