The Japanese original version was gold 🥲❤️. The Korean version wasn’t bad, but the feeling and the way the Japanese one was filmed were so much better 😭❤️. If you liked the Korean version, you’ll absolutely love the Japanese one too. I loved the Japanese actors, they matched so well and were just so cute 🥲❤️❤️

I loved episode 7, especially when the book writer told the ML that since he knows languages, he should learn the FL’s love language and study her. 😆😍 It was such a sweet piece of advice.
Usually, when a relationship doesn’t work out, the common advice is simply to find someone more compatible. Anyway, I really loved what he said

I originally thought this was a movie, and honestly, I still feel that if it were a 2- to 3-hour movie, I would’ve loved it even more.

Also I can’t believe this drama is finally going to end. The long length cdramas I’ve been waiting for are starting soon, so it’s perfect timing to binge watch this and then move on to the long ones lol. 😆

Yeah, your concern is totally valid. It’s really just for entertainment no adult would see this as healthy. I just hope younger viewers understand that boundaries and consent matter in the real world. I was enjoying the fantasy elements of the drama at first, but lol yeah, I agree with you.

I love this drama so much that I still get goosebumps rewatching or thinking about a major reveal in the story 😆😂

One thing is certain this drama is far deeper and more emotional than the synopsis suggests. I usually avoid love stories between non blood-related siblings, but this one completely surprised me. I may or may not have cried 😆 it was genuinely moving ❤️

I loved how their relationship grew from being each other’s anchor during tough childhood years into a beautiful, healthy romance. Their journey didn’t start with rainbows and sunshine, but that’s exactly how it ended. They were also undeniably hot and cute together ❤️

If you’re hesitant, I definitely recommend giving this drama a chance 😭❤️

This sounds so cute. I just saw the preview on iQIYI, it looks beautiful and like a youthful love story. But lol it’s set to air until April 18, 2026… I’m not going to wait every Saturday for just one episode 😅

I finished it after episode 18, and the pacing gets so much better. I’m glad I don’t drop dramas. 😆 The first 18 episodes felt slow and fillerish, but everything after that was fun and beautiful. I really enjoyed the ML and FL’s journey. You really have to be patient during the earlier episodes, but it’s totally worth the watch ❤️.

I do remember she still has her cute personality throughout the drama, but yes, there is character development😁. She can get herself out of trouble without the help of the ML, she’s smart. She does get better. Yes, I agree, Li Hong Yi is great. Enjoy watching 😊❤️

I’d say it is toxic, at least at the beginning. The ML has toxic traits, and the FL opens up later on. They need each other for survival, those details are explained in the earlier episodes. However, the FL empathizes with him.
I haven’t continued the episodes yet (I’m waiting for all the episodes so I can binge-watch lol), so I don’t know about their relationship now, but going by the comments, it seems good

I think the rating is higher than what this drama actually gives. It’s not bad, there are some fun moments, but a lot of episodes feel like fillers. I’m 18 episodes in and there’s barely any real storyline lol.
He Yu’s character surprised me, he’s annoying but kind of cute 😂 I love xianxia dramas, but I’ll probably forget this one easily. I’d rate it a 7.9, or a solid 8 at most.
The chemistry gets better from episode 14 onward. Also, I have to say, this drama has one of the most beautiful posters I’ve seen😍. Overall, it’s fine if you just want something to pass the time or play in the background
