I’m definitely waiting for his Youku dramas, those look like they have a better budget. I’m more excited for Blossom in Darkness and Love Travels Through Time, but I think we’ll get Hidden Shadow from Youku first.
Finished the 6 episodes available for VIP episode 7 is for express users. As I thought after watching the trailer yesterday, the drama is good for passing the time. It’s light and fun. The story is basically about the cultivation journey of both the FL and ML. The ML is strong but unfortunately gets poisoned and his spiritual core is damaged. We follow how he will recover it. The chemistry so far is sweet 👀❤️. Li Hongyi is a great actor and he looks really cute here. It’s not a high-budget drama, so even the wigs are funny lol, but the story is cute and easy to follow. I’m happy to see Li Hongyi on my screen again.
loved ML in The Demon Hunter's Romance, his acting was extraordinary. I’m not sure about this new drama since political genres usually aren’t my cup of tea 🤔 but I’ll give it a try. I’m sure it’ll end up on the Youku app banner anyway lol so I’ll eventually check it out.
Heyy, actor Li Hong Yi is back! 😍 It feels like it’s been ages since I last saw him. To be honest, I was waiting for his upcoming dramas on Youku because they look great, but WeTV stepped up lol. I just saw the trailer on the WeTV app it looks like it’ll be a nice drama to pass the time. Either way, I can’t wait for any Li Hong Yi dramas! ❤️

He really puts effort into researching his roles to make his characters completely understandable to the audience. No wonder he makes every character feel so real in each drama. To be honest, I don’t know much about WD 😬❤️ this is only my second drama with him, but he already left a huge impression on me. As for his personal life and what he wants to do or not do, I just hope he can have more freedom. Fans sometimes say things that feel a bit unhinged 🙄... I’ve been in K-pop and have seen lots of lives and comments, but his mainland fans honestly scare me a little more lol
Wang Duo did a live on Weibo today where he also talked about the drama! I didn’t understand much except when he said his name at the beginning 😅😆❤️ Still, he looked so cool and handsome such a hardworking man!
This drama was really nice! It mixes modern fantasy and historical drama beautifully, and I loved seeing both worlds in the same episode. 😍 The FL was amazing as always, and the ML did such a great job, his acting was on point, and he’s so handsome! It was a perfect binge watch. I’d love to see the ML in a longer drama too. Definitely recommend it for some light watching! ❤️

I actually went back to check his hands 😭 felt like such a creep lol I was trying to focus on them! Omg you’re right, they really were highlighted more in those types of dramas than in modern ones.
