I watched because the ML was pretty and occasionally quirky funny. The initial interview by Shang Zhitao had me hooked. There were a few other times when it was quirky or witty, there were some other interesting characters like Lumi or Sun Yu or Tracy, overall the plot fairly typical so everybody knows from the start how it will end. Just typical nice comfort watch with a few more steamy or sweet moments.

I dont think it's necessarily real people. It is two extremely flawed people whoa re written as extremely flawed on top of extremely perfect, and it doesn't make them real. To me they are the equivalent of surreal. This relationship would never happen in real life, not in a relationship type either way. Situationship - maybe.

I second that. Was much more frustrated by her than by him, though he had moments of being really immature. He at least on occasion was funny. Otherwise the end of the drama with all the weeping and passive agressiveness is not what i subscribed to so not my cup of tea. However overall the beginning was strong and the music was good, agreed :)

I agree, i didn't understand how he could fall in love with her, i think from the start it was more like situationship because she threw herself at him so he took it as green light and made a proposal himself (I was actually quite shocked how forward he was). And then there was this a bit pervy aspect that he liked who she was after him acting as her mentor. It was partially creepy. But then after a few episodes, Flora got back her spunk and decided to be passive agressive hurt corporate obsessed heroine who would go on walks with her male friends who were in love with her (so Luan Nian was right) and not really caring while being mad at the guy for spending time with his childhood friend in the same manner. The only difference was that when she was with him and his childhood friend, he made sure to introduce her as a girlfriend and put the boundaries from the start with the friend. She didn't return the courtesy, actually didn't even have a chance for 6 years to spend time with him and her rommmates in one room for 6 years.
Hence actually the heroine even though sweet at times, was such a vanilla boring character, i couldn't understand what all these men saw in her except for the reverse harem forced writing. The roommate and Lumi were much much more evolved than her.

Totally agree with you. Loved Yumi and the roommate so much, they were such lovely ladies. Initially I thought Flora was a pushover but then I thought that she was actually quite passive agressive from the start. The romance was actually midly steamy, after initial big bang it flatlined rather majorily. She was lukewarm throughout the series, he became a passive loyal dog and she would be power tripping him instead. Actually had to drop from episode 19 as the initial witty Luan Nian died.

I guess it might be a standard kit that is brought in the cars in the high mountains region where it can often be sudden weather changes and mud avalanches and nobody around for miles.

it still misses some of the specific countries' subtitles which will roll out later like in november so even more impressive

i am officially broken by Asian titles now (i mean, after all the japanese and korean and chinese romajis) and read the title above as sheenae on mae. it would be a nice drama title for a relationship between the male lead Shine and a female lead Me though :D

she didn't know how she feels though. she thought she likes the real guy because of the projection of the game guy. Agreed, this part was frustrating

Same with the guy playing piano. If this was real, it would be the one of the worst instrument protection by the staff

agreed, poor kid saying all that stuff. unless it was just some voice distortion, anyway not the best choice even if it was just modified adult. it could be any anime-like very high-pitched female voice and would work for an animal

It's lovely, plenty times of actually laughing out loud, which doesn't come by frequently for me. For all the folks who say this is not how it is in real companies - obviously it's not, it's a drama, not a documentary :)
