(she's been with partly to get support for CX) But he didn't still pull her to him when he's

And again about suicide thingy.its sudden and crucial ...its not that he's not doing anything, he's transferring all his little power that he had into her body. so that CX and XL can continue to help

well ...well I respect your opinion. But sometimes try to see drama in different perspective. So that you may get the drama and its messages more.

I know many are disappointed with Jing's doing in the drama. I just only want to express my own probably defensive opinion on his motives too. It has to be with upbringing too. I do not think he is as pessimistics as CX or XL, therefore he sometimes lookover some bad issues. He does love family and brother although his bro did wrong to him. But at least he's aware that Tusang Hou want to kill him. He protected himself several times if you notice Hou plotted to kill him 2 or 3 times. Tusang Hou is too blinded by his anger and jealousy to his bro love. Jing did not think his grandma would wrong him in such a way too. (letting him had ffyy soup with drug). It is natural that he would go depressing as he even is not sure if he did something to Ffyy when druged.
About his suicide with XY. It was very unprepared and sudden heart attack. All he could think of XY at the time I guess. Sometimes human can have weak side a time. crucial time.

ohh...I somehow thought CX has more screentime. But just my thinking ..but all are equally vital roles for drama plot.

there are 3 mls. One ml has most screentime. another ml has straight forward love line. and another had a bit complicated sort of attraction chemistry platonic one. I wish you open up to all 3 mls. ❤

about scarlet heart, yep ...I dont understand why some people address Wang Wook as charming prince. I means truely mastermind and fraud. Historical dramas are not my fav. But lately chinese production of costume dramas are really beautiful.
I think the second season will be very intense. I have read spoilers and summary. I don't think it is as tragic as Scarlet Heart. Because Xiao Yao gets with Jing in the end. They love each other. So yep. It was also very bitter
because Cang Xuan plot to kill Jing out of jealousy(also he think Jing is too weak protect XY). XY felt very betrayed by that. But she poisoned him and herself. But little on him and intense on her. She died again and he is cured. But Xiang Liu revived her
again. XL has also saved Jing life who was in coma. XL died at
war. XY and Jing united and travel around the sea for some reason. And Cang Xuan lost XY forever. 😅
Sorry for the spoiler. I am super excited to see S2. The author is also screenwriter. So should not change much?

Scarlet heart is really remarkable drama. This one is also very epic. I wish Hae Soo stay with Wang So like Xiao Yao stay with Cang Xuan. But yep situation are not same. I think XY is more mature still. Cang Xuan feelings for XY obviously show when hes sort of jealous of Jing. I think if his priority is not to get to throne she may reciprocate those feelings. But she's already so loyal to him. Need to wait and see season 2. Yep I wish Korean reamake this
drama, then I will be super excited for the cast. 😅

my thoughts on our main characters...
Xiao Yao
I love the girl. She has strength and skills. i saw she protect Cang Xuan since they were little. I like how she can be fierce and mischief at time but deep down she is very very kind person and hardly hold grugde. And Yanzi is very beautiful. She has great chemistry with all 3 mls.
Cang Xuan
Our main male lead. The one with most red flag out of three. But I can hate this character even when he torture Xiao Liu out of misunderstanding. It could be because I am already bond to this character since the beginning. Or Wanyi performance is just so excellent. I could feel his pain missing his long lost sister and regrets. Wan Yi portray emotions so well. We can both his ruthless side and also tortured side. I think he is the most emotionally tortured ml out of three (my personal opinion) The way he wanted
power reminds me of Wang So from Scarlet Heart Ryeo. It was to protect the one he loves and for justice. I mean it's good intension. Yep he's the main lead here and has most screentime. I do enjoy watching him both ruthless scene and vulnerable ones. When the drug works on him (I dont remember which episode), he bit his hand just so that he won't hurt Xiao Yao. I am touched by the scene.
Tushang Jing
I'm sailing on YaoJing ship. I do like the way how Jing treated Xiao Yao since the beginning with his gentleness. I think he stayed as Ye Shiqi for 6 years. I think their bond and attachment developed not so fast. But the reason why I ship YaoJing is because I think their core value of life are the same. They both seem to like decent simple life. Xiao Yao was scared of being alone and long for a man accompany her and only her throughout life. And Jing most inner wishes is to be with the one he love. I like how he is very straight forward with it. The way he is jealous of Xiangliu is cute. Tushang Jing has gentle princely charm and good businessman although not physically strong and do not use his cunningness to hurt other, not even to enemies. He would rather be the simple Shiqi. But yep, he also has insecurities and dilemma. Then there was this Fengfei Yiyin issues. Xiao Yao tried her best not to show her heartbreak, tried act normal but cough blood later from repressing her emotions later is a brilliant proof that her feelings for Jing are very strong. Jing 's gentle nature also balance out Xiao Yao's outer fierceness. But both are very kind person inside. Deng Wei's portrayal of Jing is perfection. I just can't imagine any other actor for the role.
Xiangliu
The badness demon. I initially have mixed feelings about him. But i can still see why we all would be swept away by his badness vibe. The way he treats Xiao Yao is initially rough. But of he is not going to hurt her for real. I guess he is an old soul and understand about life somehow. He came to care a lot about Xiao Yao in later, give her attention to well being later on too as he taught her archery as Feng Fei Pei later on. And when she died he revived her with his lives and blood. Lol he is her guardian angel. And I think subconciously Xiao Yao knows that he cares for her that why she's still sort of comfortable around him even when he drinks her blood. They do really have great chemistry. Attraction is there. I think if Xiang Liu had make a move on her, there are chances she will fall for him? But at least, I think they have strong platronic strong bond But Xiang Liu still have his burden and obligation. (which is probably why he never let Xiao Yao feels burden of him). He is too sure he can't be with her forever, so he never let her know of the things he did for her. For me Xiang Liu fits this phrase "My Life is for killing, my heart is for you". Nevertheless, Xiangliu is the character that is most mysterious out of three about his background and upbringing. I think the drama keep mysterious charm on purpose? But Tan Jian Ci with his silver hair and demonic charm will stay with us everlasting.

before properly review it in review section.. I want to write my thoughts here first.
XianXia is not my fav genre of drama. But I have to say this drama is absolutely awesome. Good directing, visual effects and good story. For me the plot is refreshing somehow. I randomly got into this drama actually. Without intending at all. I saw some clips on youtube and found it interesting. I had seen Yanzi in Ashes of Love before. She was very cute there. I am not familiar with all the male leads.
As I watched it, nostalgic of Scarlet Heart came (I have only seen Korean Ver). I don't know it is in the air. Then later find out the story was written by same author. No wonder. So far I am
enjoying it more than Scarlet Heart for some reason. Feel like I am engaged to the drama. It's 9.5/10...grade A+ for me so far. But its only S1. So I will wait to see S2 to
give the final score.
This is a story about one women going through life and got to involve with 3 men..(4 if Fenglong is counted) in xiaxian imperial vibe.
This story involve 3 male leads and not only one. They all love the female lead. female lead loves all three of them. I mean in real life, we can fall in love more than one time right. Besides strong bonds can happen in different type of relationship. Because of having mutiple mls, ships appear. I'm sailing on one of the ship. 😁
These type of reversed heram are fun to watch really especially in here because three male leads play vital roles. If you like this type don't ever miss this drama. Whether you fall into one ship or sail all three ships. It doesn't matter. It's all fun. But yep no ship war but peace. Even when fl doesn't end up with your fav ml, you can still change the ending in your imagination because it's all fiction.
I think I will discuss about how I think on
plot and characters more later while waiting for S2 since I'm married to this drama now.

Oki..i will try see him in good way in this drama.. as i agree he's the one to sacrifice later..we sometimes use the word "abuse" for physical hurting because he did hurt her lots of time early on.and seem very controling whenever they meet..throwing off her from tree, from above.(it's good he did't do anymore in later episodes)...while also attracted towards her.
The way he looks at her is something. Love bugs couple inside them is proof they are attracted to each other. The

I understand this is no rom com but a xiania historical (costume) drama, especially this one which is about wars and politics thing happening, I know you are saying Xiang Liu beat her for a reason and is justified in such situation. But what I am explaining is why would some viewers see him abusive still as he did not hurt her only once although it is more of teasing(bullying) at a times. And why two leads have to physically hurt each other maybe common? But that might bring uneasy feelings to some viewers. I know feeling of "tension" is popular.p I don't watch a lot of Xianxia. So I could not get into some perspective of fans. By that saying so, there's no way I think Xiang Liu is villianiously bad. Nope! I do sense he is more of portrayal of heroic lead who has demonic charm. I am spoiled that this original novel called "Eternally Missing You" is intended refer to him from Xiao Yao perspective. He has sacrificed some of his lives for her and as well as doing other things. I already have a feeling his character is supposed to hold this spot in viewers, eternally living in viewers' hearts. But still some other viewers may have different thinking at a times. Let my reply be a little longer, just think of it as sharing perspectives rather than arguing (since I am not changing anyone's opinion). 😅😊
This drama is about love and life of course. And I am too early to judge the whole thing as the drama is not done yet and I haven't fully read the novel yet but summary. I will focus on FL love line then. I think we all may agree she loves all 3 main guys at some point in her life in a times differently (Tension and attraction mostly with XL). Both Cang Xuan and Xiang Liu loves Xiao Yao. Both are essentially good guys. But whether they will get to live with her is another thing. They have other burdens. It is life experience and again their perspectives that they could not be with not be with her in the end. But there's 3mls and there's no way to avoid shipping war. People do have different view on same thing. I will be totally honest why I cheer Jing the most. No matter how you may judge and call him silly/weakline at his actions, I still think he needs Xiao Yao the most.I think she's most comfortable around him. I have seen many people blame him making Xiao Yao wait while he has dilemma issues with his family. It may sounds selfish of him but at the same time I don't mind it as I think he's not going to live with this Fengfei Yiyin anyway throughout life. I guess I have soft spot for people who are true to their feelings and said it out loud. There is no way to deny his flaws; his physical weakness, insecurity dilemma. But compare to the other two guys, although not wholly he's mostly out of this worldly matters (power, obligation, hatred,etc). His highest wish is to spend time xiao yao throughout life decently. He made it known and that is Xiao Yao ideal wish too. Lol this is too long now. It is good to share opinions as long as no arguments come but try to consider how other people can judge too. Yes lol... we all have different point of views on romance and other stuffs ..there's something about Xiang Liu that I could not be on YaoLiu ship at all although he seems to be the one sacrifice lives most...but then again this is drama ..very very fiction..I just hope that people just boast their favorite characters and not bash on other people ' fav too..I will try best to see good in all too ❤
