I can admit the series started off well. Everything was going on pretty well and I also understand that Qiaoxi was struggling and Qile understood him very well. But my problem starts off when he lied to her and left with no reason. You said that there is some huge struggle in his life that he doesn't want it to touch her life. Qile was already aware that Qiaoxi was struggling, wasn't she? And she did her very BEST to stay by his side. When they both confessed to each other, he could have just told her to wait for him. Even without giving her any reason at the time or explaining to her what was going on in his lie, just telling her to wait for him and that he would find her later on, that would have been enough for me. He could have at least given her hope that everything she did for him wasn’t in vain. Because WE BOTH know she would have waited even a hundred years FOR HIM. That's how much she loves him. But what did he do? Instead of that, he left her in the CRUELLEST WAY POSSIBLE!! Just imagining how she felt when she was running after him when he lied that he was getting his suitcase, but he was actually leaving the country??? That hurt soooooo bad and it really was cruel. She is the light to his life. YEEEEEES. But he still chose to vanish and live in the dark. Why would you hurt the person you love like that? And yet she held no grudge. She sent him messages and went on to save money to buy a ticket to find him. Her love is so PURE. But Qiaoxi hurt her? The last episodes might be cute and fluffy, but I just feel after all Qile went through Qiaoxi doesn't deserve her. Did he apologize for leaving her like that?? She acts on her love. Plans, risks, sacrifices. Knowing fully well his mom hates her Qile shows him her love through actions. Can I really compare to what he's done for her? What has Qiaoxi done for her throughout those years?
