I dont think there’s any swapping and i believed the stabbing was real, it’s part of XHA’s scheme, which I believe will be revealed to us later just like YFS’s death arc.
And yes Huai’an’s strategies do involved a lot life but this is a very dark drama and he is a very gray character. So , we should know how this is going to end.🙂‍↕️😔☹️

I think this is all part of XHA’s scheme. Watch last part of ep 23 (min 45:23) what XHA written in the hidden note message to XWY for better understanding. Logically If they dont give any redemption to XWJ arc, then who’s going to be the emperor? On ep 24(min 20:13) the conversation between XWY to XWJ, that says” you’ve accomplished what other couldn’t and he will return to was rightfully his ( the throne). “Read between the lines, the dialogue has got meaning.

That’s my guess too and with the direction the drama is going , my speculation, Wenjing would be the last one still standing , the rest, including the ML would all perished.

You hit jackpot if they ever do 1 drama every few years. Look at Zhang Hanyu aka YFS here, I’m surprised to see him in drama, don’t remember when was the last if ever that I’ve seen him in a drama.

Ya, missed him though, don’t think he is ever coming back to drama, just like Jackson yee( another young talented actor).

I have to say in most of those sad moment on any c-drama its the wet watery eyes but not weeping that brought tears to my eyes and the actor who is best at it would be Zhu yilong( in my opinion).

Like all the others have said, dont need anyone’s validation for what we enjoyed. We all have different tastes and preferences, just like food. What i like to eat may not be what you like , what i like to wear may not be your style, so be it. We move on.

I’m totally cool with spoilers too but you know some people here on mdl may find it disruptive despite tagging it as spoilers yet they still want to read n complain. Thats why i didnt want to go into details too much.

Regarding the ML losing a lot of his allies, this is too much for me to handle, the screenwriter is pushing it to the max, even in Legend of ZH or NIF there weren’t that many deaths and sacrifices. I know, i know they are building up the climax , i get it.

As for the guy in the cave, my opinion is he maybe ultimately be 1 of those 6 guys whose hidden face the ML couldn’t figure out. I think he may well be the Big, big bad that is bigger than YFS.

ML relationship with sis was revealed to her indirectly( she thought she figured it out herself) by the Big bad as part of his plan. She died becaused of mistaken identity . Revenge is going to be more bitter now, ML went into hiding and as of latest ep yesterday , how its goin to turn out yet to be revealed.
I have spoiled enough.

1) sister BW died😫as off latest eps , she died knowing XHA is his brother but did not get to reunite with him😔😭
2) deposed emperor aka ZM is on team good as of the latest ep.
3) ML revenge plot did not turn out the way it should have turned out infact defeated badly.

Omg!How many more eps do i have to shed tears😭🥺. Its so emotionally draining and heart aching to see both of them longing for the lost love of the only family member yet they are next to each other . I really hope Bai Wan dont die, somehow my gut feelings tell me that all is not going to turn out well🤞

He cried more than 4 eps, and i cried 😭on the latest ep(ep6). I think a lot of people will cry on ep5 n 6.🥺

For i find that it is more incline to legend of zhang hai vibe, though i personally find this drama is even darker than LoZH. I am enjoying it though.

I’m not deploring that he is a coward but his action(hiding behind pillars or a stone)of doing so, made him very comical🤣.

Me too, SWM is such a comic while the rest are busy fighting, he will always be the one hiding behind a pillar. Taking about ‘damsel in distress’ is always safe by the hero in a-lot of dramas but here is ‘bachelor or more like “ mansel “ in distresss safe by the heroin’ .😝😆
