I too went in with high expectations, and was surprised in the negative. The characters poorly written. They seem separede worlds and it doesn't feel like a continuation of S1. It feels more like a fanfic written by amateur.

It wasn't specifically for you. It's for people in general who think that people are revolted by the change of actress, when it's not true. Also, if you notice, in the last few days some people around here are saying that the reason for people's anger is because of the change of actress. The writing in S2 is confusing and poorly written.
I saw it completely differently. The only thing I saw was Jang Uk being DUMB all the time even with HEAVY hints!…
People are CONFUSED about the plot created. It has NOTHING to do with changing actresses............ The script is the main problem here. The construction of the novel has flaws. And poorly written characters. It's just that there were people who noticed these flaws and others didn't.
But I didn't talk about the actress change here. In what part of my comment a few days ago did people see me talking about this?? It annoys me people are saying things I didn't say. I just talked about the reasons why people are CONFUSED about the plot created. It has NOTHING to do with changing actresses............ The script is the main problem here.
Ahahahaha….all this time later and people are still behaving strangely…I must say this again…I said it when…

But most people who complain are talking about the "characters" and the way they were written, at least for me it has nothing to do with the actors. I like them as actors, otherwise I wouldn't have seen this drama, to see if I would like the story or not.

You have your opinions and I have mine. I still keep thinking the same thing! I still think he shouldn't have fallen in love without knowing it's Naksu. Also, he didn't need to fall in love with someone again, because he already "loved" Mudeok at least until the beginning of the second season. In ep 1 Uk was near the stone tower "pining" for her to come back. And she came back but without memories. One of the big problems is they dragged on amnesia for a long time.. The sisters could have made the connection between soul mates in a completely different and more convincing way for everyone. And than to see Uk simply move on from Mudeok...... If the story that the sisters created of the two protagonists was well done, I think almost nobody would complain. But it's funny that a LOT of people complain exactly the same as me! Something has clearly gone wrong and it's quite noticeable here.

From my perspective, it's like he fell in love with another woman coz he believed that Naksu is gone. It didn't even cross his mind that Jin Bu Yeon might be Naksu until the very end. If it was just different appearance, I wouldn't have minded it but, the current Cho Yeong's personality is different from the Mu Doek he had known earlier. So, to me, it's like he fell in love with a completely different person.
It was all just about the soul. That mean, if fate decided that Naksu and Yul should be together, the their souls would have fell in love. It bothered me that it was nothing about the characters decisions and feelings. It was just destiny that brought them together.

In ep 4 he kissed her thinking of her as Buyeon and not Naksu. He had no idea she was Naksu until ep 9. Technically it's like he fell in love with someone else, he failed to recognize his soul. He move on Mudeok in ep 4 to stay with Buyeon. Learn to interpret what was shown in S2 and then talk. A lot of people are complaining about this season being confusing.
PS: She had a completely different personality than Mudeok who Uk originally fell in love with. I think it was a waste of time for the sisters to try to convince most people.
I wish he hadn't gotten physically involved with her without first knowing that she's Naksu, and as someone said around here I wanted him to kiss her at least after knowing who she was. They could have kept the relationship just as a friendship, as was done in the first season when Uk and Mudeok met. (they only became physically involved long after they met, their first kiss etc) at least until her identity was revealed. At least for me, I thought that way.

Even if they changed the actress Go Youn Jung, S2's story was still horrible. There wasn't much to escape... honestly...
FL shouldn't be blamed though, it's hard to act when given such a horrible script. At this point, the season is simply fanservice, fanservice thrown away...
As so many people have said, the S2 was disappointing.
For me it was like a slap in the face.
The S2 is a poorly written fanfic! lol
It was just Jang UK being dumb all the time with heavy hints about Naksu. The characters were poorly written..

Uk didn't know it was Naksu and decided to stay with her anyway, and he didn't care if it was Naksu or not, to me it was like a slap in the face.
S2 didn't deserve this mess.
