I enjoyed it, despite it's flaws. The pacing was a bit off.
The ending kind of made me feel like they rewrote something that they previously scrapped for some reason, because it flowed very awkwardly from the rest, but I enjoyed the story overall.
It's the second drama involving some time travel tomfoolery that leaves me kind of hanging at the last episode (both of which apparently don't follow their respective original novels?)
I would like Thai dramas to stop messing up endings to rush it into 1 episode at least and get their sh together.
It's a bit sad because I see what they wanted to do and they dropped the ball on a few things.
But again, I enjoyed the story. Perhaps I should read the novel.

Subs now out, you can find them at the comment below
Thank you fr your work!
We are only a few episodes in but I really enjoy the cncept of Every You Every me.

I know it's supposed to be Alternate universes but the stories really do exist well as independant plots. You don't have to look at them as a continuous plot (well so far at least).

They managed so far to not make each storiy feel rushed, more like short films with a good pace. I feel like they manage to tell everything they want to say within the time allocated, without filler moments or rushed parts.
The actors show versatility in the different roles. It allows to see them in different stories but without sitting through series after series of the same faces ad nauseam. It's short enough that you don't get sick of them and they really do almost make you forget that it's the same people.

They have taken a risk in doing something different with their format and I applaud it. with great success so far. Some of the stories I prefer more than others but it's expected of something like this.

My goodness, they really should have left the original movies alone. 😭The Takumi-kun movies were my introduction…
thanks for your review., truly.
I already thought that the original was kind of a product of its time (I am a drama veteran kinda, ive seen the evolution in styles and productions and look back on it with a lot of love) and had set my expectations high.
I shall set them a bit lower...

look mate youre entitled to your opinion but if you could stop harassing everyone about it in the comments, completely unprompted, that would be great. we know, you don't like it, you left 100 comments about it. back off and stop being a pain

How many episodes have been released so far? comments aren't looking too good but I still want to give it a shot…
I personally think that this feels more like a movie than something that should have been broken into episodes. So far the development is slow. I feel the tension, frustration and love of the characters for each other but its shown subtly and given drip by drip. There isn't a lot of twists and turns and exciting moments. Just a nice slow constant flow. So perhaps you're right to wait a bit more. Thats is just my opinion but if this may improve your viewing experience, you'll do well to wait indeed.

I see a lot of comments saying that the series is boring, and I 100% see why people are saying that, but for me,…
I agree. this might not be for everyone but I like the style.
Actually I was starting to think that this felt more like an artistic movie than a series

I don't know why people hate on this show.
It is slow paced, yes. But I don't find it boring. They emphasize on the atmosphere. I also feel like this is mellow because this is Ryo's point of view, who is a mellow guy. This is also very on par with the concept of showing emotions without necessarily wording it (or the japanese way of not talking about things).
If this was Hikaru's point of view, there would probably be a different atmosphere?
So far, I enjoy just watching the characters evolve and deal with social dynamics at their own pace. as slow as it may be.

I like the tension between the two mains, and how different they are in their personalities, and how they deal with their feelings. I like that this is a "extrovert adopts an introvert" dynamic. I like that Everyone seems to be giving each other space to grow and figure things out, as good friends do. I like that they are teenagers dealing with complicated social dynamics on their own (and being quite good at not making a big fuss, theyre quite mature).

If you're looking for a succession of overdone tropes and Putting Boys In Squee Situations, then this is probably not for you. If you need them to kiss passionately every 5 minutes, this is not for you. If you need every emotion to be clearly spelt out, this is not for you. But if you like a story with good imagery, good atmosphere, and a subtle way to deal with emotions, this is definitely for you.
