Just my opinion, keeping in mind I am only 4 episodes in.

I like the plot and I think the 2 mains are likeable.
There are some production issues (the sound is a bit off sometimes) and pacing issues (episode 4 is hard to follow because flashbacks are not clearly defined so it gets confusing). You can tell the budget is probably not the best (but then again a story like that does not reauire billions to produce) but the actors are talented and deliver well, so this can be overlooked (although sometimes the sound doesn't do them any favours but this could also come from the source where I watch it)
I think the dynamic between the 2 is nice (there are sweet and funny moments, love and banter. I enjoy watching haneul seemingly falling in love with saebyok all over again) and the mystery, despite being simple in my opinion, is unfolding nicely and keeping you in.
So if you set your expectations on a relatively simple amnesia love story with a little side mystery, with a production that is just enough for this type of story, and actors that do their jobs well, yes it is good and ticks all the boxes it requires.

I have the same feeling, the flashbacks don't seem to be handled well, and the atmosphere goes from mysterious to confusing.
in total opposition, the way the dialogues try to foreshadow things but just seems a bit on the nose at times.
The disconnect between "too obvious" and "downright confusing" is just jarring.

Are they the same people who dunked on Delicious Divorce because the established gay couple was not depicting or alluding explicit scenes? where did the tradition of "if it's not in the show, make it happen in fanfic/doujin" go?
I think it might still be worth a watch if it's fun. Afterall one sided loves are part of the queer experience too. thank you for the feedback

We are 2 episodes in and I am NOT drawn in.

It's sad because I am invested in the whole multiverse/amnesia plot but I find the writing style and acting style waaay too amateur-ish and heavy handed for that kind of story.
We know these actors have been able to offer a completely different vibe in other shows so I don't blame their range or talent at all.

I don't mind dramatic funny moments (the hypothetical scenario of the mom during the dinner scene was absolutely fun) but there is zero time to breathe, poor pacing, important plot points are just thrown in and glossed over for another joke to take its place immediately after. And the annoying music in the background trying to constantly remind the viewer that they should laugh is just the cherry on the pile of goo (you would not need so much effort in "joke time" music if your comedy was designed to land properly).

I really am not convinced. Not my style at all. you can't just bet a whole drama on 2 people's perfect chemistry and hope people disregard the mediocrity of all the writing and direction.
If you like constant campy over the top comedy with next to zero subtlety, you might like it. If none of the things I listed are defects to you, and you are only here for obvious jokes, extreme gay and the 2 main's chemistry, go for it, by all means, you do you.
But this is simply not the tone for me.

I like your theory though

The show seems to follow the multiverse theory that when someone dies, their consciousness transfers into their self in a different universe. Usually this is done to the closest possible universe buthat's not always the case or possible.
I think Apo *is* Phop in this universe, otherwise he would not have transfered into him. Apo is a different person than Phop in background upbringing and name but his essence and body are the same, which is close enough to allow for the transfer.
So I think you are right and there is a Suriya in both worlds too, so not mentioning the name does not matter anyway since it could be a different one.
Just my opinion though.

ah you have a more nuanced opinion of this than me. well I didn't like any of the other series you campared it to so I'll just accept that it's not my thing and call it a day

because they consider BL as a genre in and of itself that sustains itself in terms of scenario, but non-queer romance as a "norm" that needs a main plot to be sustained. Honestly I am sharing the same opinion that it's not that they can't do a good show that happens to involve BL (just as they make non queer shows that just happen to have a bit of romance), they just chose not to and it sucks. BL fans need to be more critical at this point, and stop taking crumbs as victories in the general media landscape. this just puts queer stories on the sideline again.

I have the same opinion. that was too many useless flashbacks in one episode, like you could have just.. told the story..???? I will also wait and see if this gets better with other episodes. The scenes themselves are fine, just....why put them in flashbacks??

I thought it was meh too. I have no problem with the genre but the execution of it and the way it's presented... I hope it's not like that for all episodes

Could not finish episode 1. The couple seems cute and the scenes are funny but the extensive use of completely useless flashbacks when you could very well have told the same story in a linear way has me rolling my eyes. Sad, as the content seems fine if you like cheesy romcoms and putting boys in funny situations, but the execution seems seriously lacking. I might give it another try later when more episodes are out, see if it improves. But that's a no for me for now.

It's an interesting story with charismatic actors and a very decent quality of production but the format and time constraints left me wanting for a little more. I hope this is adapted into a longer, more detailed movie.
