Hello!
I like how this tells us to describe yourselves in "a sentence or two. I have ADHD so that's not gonna happen. 😊Â
I reside in Washington State, USA (from San Diego, California). I'm a mixed ethnicity: African American and French Canadian (in case that matters). I'm an older (early 40s) watcher who enjoys settings from high school  to university and beyond.Â
Let's see, I am a high school history teacher with an Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies, Bachelor's degree in Psychology, and Master's degree in Secondary Education. Â As a teacher, I binge most of my dramas during breaks.
Hm... I am a lover dramas - obviously, otherwise why would I have a profile here, right? I started watching K-dramas back in 2023 (not long ago at all, really). My first KDrama was Alchemy of Souls. I watched my first BL drama (🇹🇠Thailand) in January 2024:Love in the Air. The rest is history! I've watched over 600 series dramas and over 100 movies in that short time- my ADHD brain loves to binge. I'm still working my way to more C-Dramas. The dubbing and high episode count make me hesitate - plus, why are they always flying in period dramas? I'll get over it, I'm sure. I LOVED Chinese dramas like The SpiRealm, Revenged Love, and Stay with Me, so I'm opening up to the possibility of more  recently set C-Dramas.Â
I am a KPop fan, BTS 💜 (💜) is my #1 group (my bias is Jungkook, but, as a good ARMY, I love them all). I entered the Kpop universe around the same time I started watching KDramas. You could say KDramas were my doorway into my ADHD dopamine ocean. My fix happens in Asian dramas and KPop.Â
Another "fun" fact: I'm passively learning 3 languages - Japanese, Thai, and Mandarin, and more actively learning Korean (I understand more than I can speak). I speak "kindergarten" Spanish (I used to speak more fluently but it's not my first language, so I've become rusty from lack of use).Â
Thanks for reading my long-winded bio! See you in the comment section! 😊Â
