Some of you should take it easy with the spoilers WTF!There is a spoiler tag for a reason.
I’ve been reporting the obstinate ones and giving a gentle reminder to the chill ones. 😊 You can also block the user, too. Some just get on MDL to ruin people’s enjoyment of dramas.
Your take is from a misunderstanding of the plot. It will all make sense in future episodes, though, there are…
No worries. 😊
Did you watch Bittersweet Love? If not, then I recommend skipping it as it will frustrate you quite a bit, like it did most viewers who didn’t read ahead. I am one of those viewers that has to read the novel if I discover one is easily available so I can make it through 😊. Even with that, it was hard to stomach and I gave the drama a 7/10. Still fair for my terms in rating dramas, I guess.
why on earth has this dropped from 8.3 to 7.9 in a few hours? haters?
That was what I was wondering because the comments are not filled with drama-bashing that would cause a series such a drop in ratings 8 episodes into a 47 episode drama. 17% of a drama does not foretell it’s success or failure. They’re basically still cruising on the on ramp at this point in the game. Me? I’d give it about 15 episodes before I make up my mind (30%). They gotta get their sea legs under them first. 😊

They are misunderstandings brought on by others with the information withholding it, whatever their intentions are. if those withholding the information came clean, then these misunderstandings wouldn’t exist, but they drive the plot to the inevitable end.
Perhaps you could give the novel a try while waiting until it’s done airing? You may find it makes more sense that way?
Either way, it’s all good. I understand moving on if one is not feeling the drama. I have moved on from many a highly acclaimed drama because it wasn’t for me. Happy viewing and I’m sure we will see each other in the threads 😊
A bit confusing but it’s intriguing. Shen Mo is a very pitiful character and I hope he gets much needed development…
He’s not meant to be pitiful, though. It’s all based on misunderstandings due to withheld information and the hurt that follows. People withholding information, despite the good intentions of withholding, cause further harm. The future episodes will make it all make more sense. I like that these characters are portrayed with more realistic emotions and character flaws. The writer did a good job with it, imo.
It’s rare for a series to be so faithful to the novel (except for the "NC" scenes, lol).I hope you finally…
That part 👆🏽
They’ll learn soon enough, though… unless they drop it too early. That would be unfortunate because the story really is a good one full of all kinds of emotions. I loved the novel, which I binge-read over a weekend, between adulting (boo👎🏽).
My Heart Actually Breaks for An’an 💔Is it just me, or am I the only one who genuinely feels sorry for An’an?…
Hello my friend! I agree with you 100%. I posted something similar about her today, as well. An’an doesn’t deserve what she’s being dished. I love her personality (and I love who the director cast for the role; fits her character’s vibe so well). She genuinely makes me smile when she’s on screen. It’s crazy that in a BL, I want MORE scenes with a female character rather than less… who would have thought?
(Just thinking- you may want to put a spoiler warning for the “uninitiated” future viewers. 🥰 )
Finished episode 4 and I'm a bit sad they didn't have any NC scenes in the last 2 episodes. Considering the actors…
They’ve kept the drama pretty clean imo. Even the NC scenes feel as though they’re trying not to give anything for viewers to imagine. The novel is more…explicit. I bought mine on Amazon and read it over the weekend after last week’s episodes.
Yeah it’s a drop for me. Those lines from the sister at the start of episode 4… Shen Mo’s initial thought…
Your take is from a misunderstanding of the plot. It will all make sense in future episodes, though, there are hints through what has been released to date. (These hints will become obvious later.) Granted, some of Ji’s words and actions are…questionable…but they do make sense in the future under the lens of him being a real human with real emotions. I will say no more otherwise I’ll be giving a spoiler. -from one of the novel readers 🩷
How is the rating at 7.9 with only a handful of episodes out? Some of you are too brutal. There are FOURTY-SEVEN episodes to this… Seems a bit premature, in my opinion.
