Just a tip: scroll up and click on the Episode tab. It will show you exactly how many episodes will be released…
This is assuming you’re using the website version instead of the app. The app is more limited with drama info compared to the website. 😊 I largely use the app.

Yup, as long as this doesn’t morphe into another ‘Lost to You’ non-ending (because wtf was that last episode?!!!), I think this will be another solid BL worth the hype of the trailer. Acting 👍🏽Cinematography 👍🏽Story👍🏽 Chemistry 👍🏽 I’m caught🎣.

2 new episodes tomorrow! (The trailers make me want all episodes released at once like Netflix usually does.)

I enjoyed watching this drama. Though I have reached a point in my CDrama viewership where I watch in 2x speed sometimes and sometimes 10 sec skip through the mundane scenes (you can kinda get a feel for when it’s not gonna cost you
to do this after about a dozen or two dramas under your belt- and I’ve seen WAY more than that)- it didn’t mean this drama lacks in good storytelling and acting. The hero’s arc of Wu Geng/Gou is quite engaging. He goes through A LOT. Like, every episode our guy is going through it. But you know the saying that pressure turns coal into diamonds…that’s his story. And Ren Jia Lun does a great job portraying this trial by fire and growth with unwavering selflessness and conviction. His mantle is heavy, but he bears it.

Little
things made me go 🤔. The hair on our guys sometimes had me wanting to go back in time and fire the hair stylist because wtf is that hot mess?!

Overall, I enjoyed this quite a bit. 8.5/10 (only because I wanted a different ending- just a personal choice, and because sometimes the CGI was a little too obvious in terms of fakeness that it became a bit of a distaction for me).

Is this drama a stand alone or related to any other drama/story?

Remember how James kept saying that he can't "Read" Ken.. It's because Ken has been immortal for so long,…
I think Red means more than evil. James doesn’t explain what each color means, so it could mean more than evil or malicious. I think red is more complex than the show is revealing for now. I feel like it represents the strongest of emotions. Just a theory, though. I need to binge the book before next week. Or just suffer in the angst of waiting for a slow reveal each week.

Red is definitely a plot point in the story. it keeps popping up.

I’m sitting here just pondering it. Maybe neither one is actually medically colorblind. Maybe the color blindness is actually a reference to Ken’s lack of color in his aura- at least, from James’ perspective. I rewatched the scene where James is drunk and pointing out the rainbow fish to Ken to identify. Though we see Ken looking at a gray fish, he correctly identified its color. He identified as being medically colorblind, but I wonder if it’s just a cover for his Nour identity. Like, if he is undying, he has a loss of vibrancy in his life. Colors are desaturated because being a Nour is a lifeless and depressing existence (as evidenced by his repeated attempts to end it over the centuries). I imagine reds may be the first to fade over time- as it holds vitality in its symbolism across many cultures. I wonder if he will start to see colors more boldly, especially reds and oranges. The more he opens up to James, the more the world become more vibrant to him.

Oh absolutely. He’s a real one for sure!

I can’t see anything happening with the teacher until they graduate. That would make me, an actual
high school teacher, concerned.

I vibe with this explanation. I’m sure episode 5 starts with James and Ken talking about these colors in some way. The sudden backtrack has me feeling some whiplash though.

My theory was that, since James is colorblind to red, maybe Ken’s aura looks gray but is actually red. If that doesn’t represent emotion but their connection, that would make sense. He still wouldn’t be able to see red in the car, but the added greed and yellow would make sense for how Ken is thawing towards the person who is his soulmate. Ken lowering his walls for James, despite all he’s been through for hundreds of years makes sense.

I really want to find and read the book now…

EDIT: I got it that James is not colorblind. Thanks.

episode 4 was so sweet! i love this so far. no wonder Suzuki gets so shy with the way Serizawa looks at him 🤩
Serizawa has liked him for a while- I bet even before the eraser. I bet we find out he noticed Suzuki and found himself interested before they were even classmates.

Serizawa bout to hit Suzuki with the old "Let me kiss you and take your clothes off because I'm an ideal seme"…
I think it’s a dream Suzuki is having because of the lighting. But I think the question at the end is real.

I enjoyed Zhu Zheng Teng in You Have My Heart, so I thought I’d give this a try. Apartway through episode 2 and I’ve decided to drop. Mostly because I don’t feel any chemistry between our leads. Like, none. How am I supposed to believe this is a love story when they have no on screen chemistry?

How much comedy does this have?
It’s not really a comedy, though there is an appropriate amount of humorous moments, mostly courtesy of our constable. He’s not over the top either.

Actually a pretty good watch. The pace wasn’t too fast or too slow. They had good chemistry. The story was engaging, and the ending didn’t feel rushed. I recommend giving it a try.
