After Episode 1: Weak Hero Class- Teacher Edition. WTF is this GEM?! I’ve seen reels with clips of this, but I have been hesitating to watch for no good reason. This is my kind of Kdrama- Karma. This is what I’ll be doing for the next 9 hours. Sleep? Optional.
A few minutes in and I really thought “have you seen an earring” was just a pick up line, because how tf would you see something THAT small at a beach?! But then the audacity to write a script where they actually search for it…and FIND IT? So close to the water, too? …yeah…
I may need to pause this until it’s done airing because it’s probably a more satisfying watch if I can see everything at once like a movie. It’s like a manga episode release a week sort of quickness.
I think it’s a movie to both love and hate. Their journey is complex. It’s not a fluffy watch, to be sure. It’s more darkness than light. It pulls me in, though, so I watch it at least once a year I guess. You’d have to make up your own mind about it. There is infidelity. That’s a trigger for some.
Sweetness overload 2.0 with the Netflix version. More intimate moments between the two- not just more nc (which are good), but overall moments where they’re just being a cute, sweet couple. 🥰
That part! Like, you have a SECOND CHANCE! Why blurt out to the villain that you know he’s a villain and hip…
I’ve actually stopped at episode 9- I think I was just like- if I’m gonna watch something, let it something that truly captures my attention instead of forcing myself to continue.

I agree. The manhwa is good. But I think they’re doing a good job and representing the manhwa well. I love the actors chosen- they fit the roles. And I believe they’re all doing their part well. Were there some differences? Of course! The whole conversation between Jay and Sunny was different, just as an example. I particularly liked how they did the rooftop suicide scene though. I was like- There it is!
the bus scene! that was so cute but also awkward at the same time with all those people staring XD >.<
At first I thought the extras just couldn’t contain themselves. But then I realized toward the end that it was part of the script. I imagine the director just telling everyone to respond how you would if you saw two attractive men like them being like this on a bus as long as you keep it down and don’t squeal, and everyone just got to fangirl/boy their hearts out. 😍

And just as an aside- the scene at the photo studio. As a photographer, I really appreciated the class in the nude photo of Sun. Visually, it was classy. The lighting, pose, angle- everything screams my kind of fine art (when I was completing my senior portfolio project for my photography degree, I chose the male form and much of my lighting and poses were like this. I photograph men WAY better than women.)
OMG. I had to pause and run here because the public bus scene- 😂 the extras couldn’t help but react to the scene between them 😂. I’m dying with how much they were staring and giggling in the background. 🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭
Ob my god. Epidode 8 is peak. Everytbing about it was perfect to me. It brought the novel/manhwa to life. The last scene- those few minutes before the end with the reveal? That was my happy place. The look on Sun’s face… I’m loving the relationship between these two- and how our actors are really bringing these characters to life. I literally cannot wait until next week. This is what Thai dramas should be. This is the type of drama that pulled me in in the first place (LITA and KinnPorche being my first BLs).
Based on the trailer, I’m so ready for this. I think it’ll be cute 😊The IG trailer said airing on iQIYI, Viki, and Gaga 8/14 at 7pm (Taiwan time, probably- which is 4am PST). None of these streaming platforms show this in a search or in their coming soon list for USA or with my VPN set to 🇹🇭 or 🇹🇼, though.
