I am never inclined to read horror. I honestly dislike the genre, but I couldn’t resist a Chinese zombie BL. First in my generation and all. I just skip through the gore scenes like I’m a Disney princess in a field of flowers. ⏩⏩⏩

Right. I honestly skimmed through that chapter because my buy in for Yi was low. I just remember an accident with a truck, something wrong with his leg, and this high profile person who found Yi’s singing skills at first to be mediocre or something. Poor guy.

I just decided to block the other user because this person frequently finds something to argue or be passive aggressive about. In so many threads and for so long. I feel free somehow.

There are 3 time periods in the novel. I read them. The past, the present that we saw for the last 4 episodes, and the future, likely the last episodes of the serie- unless they throw in some of the side stories. But I’m not incorrect. These middle episodes will go over the 6 months Shen Mo is missing due to his memory loss. Likely after the villa visit. I know as I read the novel after the first episodes were released. Yhe redemption phase is the end of the story. It’s too soon for that. Shen Mo’s awakening will happen next though.

I know it’s implied that he gets with someone in the book. I forget who, though. An idol or someone higher profile… It’s in the extra chapters.

We did- the director cut those scenes, unfortunately… Ah…the memories. Well, the novel is detailed enough to make even me blush 🤭☺️

Then you’re gonna hate the next few episodes… The novel does this a lot as there are 3 time periods to the story…

With the way Thiar is acting, I can’t help but imagine this elaborate plot he and his crew cooked up to get Mangkorn involved with him so they could be together. No way Thair hasn’t caught feelings already.

If they don’t give War an opportunity to cry… One of the famous BL pretty criers- I know it’s coming with this set up.

Meanwhile, I can only shake my head and chuckle at the shenanigans everyone will get into, especially these two. 🤭🤭🤭

It’ll be a bittersweet ride though. Here’s to hoping they throw in some of those extras from the book…🫦🔥🫠

Yes. He did it to separate Zhao Yang and Shen Mo so An’An could have her happily ever after with the man she loved since childhood. Anything to keep her in a happy bubble until her heart condition takes her. He didn’t expect Shen Mo would be kidnapped and tortured to threaten him away from Zhao Yang. Ms. Zhao is a piece of work. Her son and his half brother are no different. Was Mingxuan wrong? Absolutely. He shouldn’t have manipulated lives for his sister, because she’s the one hurt the most. She is the most innocent of all in this story.

I will say that Mingxuan truly loves his sister though. And he loves Shen Mo. You can tell from the way he looks at him sometimes when his guard is down. I’m looking forward to the 6 month gap reveal (you’ll know what I mean soon if you haven’t read the story). Should be the next episode or two.

Well, excuse tf outta me Director of Episode 5… And here I was thinking maybe they were a bit homophobic and took the job to pay the bills with the previous woefully unrealistic attempts at portraying sexual intimacy between these two despite their crazy chemistry. (y’all know what I mean) I wondered how a director could totally leave such chemistry so underutilized when opportunity was staring them right in the lens…I stand humbly corrected. My potato salad will NEVER be the same again- for which I am truly thankful 🤭🤫Jesus.

Legalos YES! Those magical, neverending arrows. I was also wondering about Shrek’s uncanny accuracy in locating them after they did the whole water routine then DROVE off! And him on FOOT! Shrek has skills. But the story-writer needed A Lie to be saved for once. Enter magical tracking Shrek. He can do just about everything…until he’s no longer needed for the storyline.

Okay Episode 12. I see you 🤏🏽🤏🏽🔥🔥THAT’S a fuc$ing CRAVING scene right there! Our guys FEASTED 🤭😉🤫The down badism that is A Lie… And both of them in all black… 🔥🫠🪭

One thing I do wonder though- how come A Lie never runs out of arrows? Like, frfr. (Someone mentioned Legalos from Lord of the Rings and I can’t unthink it.) My brain thinks he just goes to collect them again. But what about when they’re running for their lives? My mind whenever they fight someone: gather the WEAPONS! Take the gear! Fuel is a weapon. Get you some flint or a lighter and you got yourself a zombie bonfire. Or at least a barrier to get away. Hair spray and a flame? Flame thrower. And do NONE of the other vehicles work? None? Like, just that one jeep, huh? Now me? Ima hang out in a boat. seems the safest. Land has too many living and dead humans.

But I’m intrigued in these new arrivals to the story halfway through. I’m wondering how much of a role they’ll play- whether they’ll lead to our A Lie and Lin Zai’s salvation or “doom” (of course they gotta survive though- otherwise I may riot. Quietly. In my head.

October 24 is a looooooooong way away 😫😫😫I both anticipate and dread it.
