Y’all. Episode NINE! Like 🥵🥵🥵🔥🔥🔥I’m in love with their chemistry. Like, if doesn’t feel like Duang and Qin- it FEELS like TeeTee and Por. The way they look at each other…I felt like I was interrupting something. Jesus Christ. Like, TeeTee’s “devour because I’m hungry” look… Por’s got that bedroom “come hither” look mastered. OMFG I wanna live in this episode, but I know next episode will also be 🔥Duang and Qin in the book are HUN.GRY. And TeeTee and Por portray them perfectly. Like these roles were MADE for them- tailor perfect, really. The NC scene was another level. The camera angles were perfect. Truly 🤏🏽🤏🏽🤏🏽Why are there ONLY 12 episodes?! Why is Saturday so far away?😭Guessbill go rewatch this episode
I’m glad I watched the whole series on Bilibili because I couldn’t with these cliffhangers otherwise. It IS nice that I can understand what they’re saying though- Bilibili’s subtitles were in Chinese. I’m looking forward to the ride these next few episodes will be.
Dear Korea…I’m a bit confused at the ending. It felt a bit unfinished, like there should be another episode after 8 to wrap it all up. I love these two together. I want to see them in another BL. One with a more complete ending like A Breeze of Live was.
Their acting in kissing and nc scenes is significantly more natural than the rest of the show. Like the only time they truly come alive is when their lips (skin) meet intimately.
I’m mildly curious about the crazy barista guy- what will SaeByeok do in episode 7 when he finds out?
I had no patience so I had to go watch it in Bilibili- no English subtitles but I got the gist. Still need to…
From what I understood, he’s a grown up in his 20s who is Akira’s older brother’s friend who is also gay and in love with Akira’s straight brother. He “sympathizes” with Akira one day and talks him into being each other’s physical comfort. Tjey get together for s3x. Akira is underage- a sophomore in high school, mind you, and this was going on since middle school, or at least 9th grade when Akira shared that he was upset because he had a crush on a straight friend and when the friend found out, he bullied him. Akira is hella insecure about himself- which will be revealed in later episodes. I don’t know if the tutor is a predator who groomed Akira or not, but this is what I gathered based on some scenes I saw in addition comments scrolling as I watched. There is a happy ending, though. So there’s that.
I LOVED the first 2 episodes. Japanese BLs have a tendency to be comfort series for me. As I haven’t emread…
I had no patience so I had to go watch it in Bilibili- no English subtitles but I got the gist. Still need to watch each Gaga episode though to understand in more detail about what was happening and what was said. But now I don’t feel so…”desperate” while waiting for the upcoming episodes. Just patiently impatient, if you know what I mean.

So far, I love how supportive Kanata’s friends are. I also appreciate how emotionally mature the teens are written. They truly want him to be happy doing what he loves, but also realize they shouldn’t pressure him about it. You can tell they’re confused and maybe frustrated a bit that someone who clearly loves soccer and is talented isn’t doing what he loves- but they know it’s not their place to heavily question him on it.
I am curious about the tutor- what is his current role in Akira’s life? “Former” tutor? In what? Akira wanting Mizuki to keep the tutor a secret from Kanata is a little odd to me, because the chances of Kanata knowing the tutor is low, I think. Unless it’s all innocent, but Akira says he’s not who Kanata thinks he is- I wonder if it’s simply his attraction to Kanata, or something more…? Time will tell. So far, the only “adult” in this series is the questionable tutor (I have my theories on his actual role in Akira’s life, but I need one more episode to narrow them down).
I’m looking forward to next week. I wish Gaga and the powers that be had chosen to give us all episodes at once. Waiting- patiently- has never been my strong suit. 😭
Man… I liked the cute and funny moments from the new episodes but it’s just piling on the questions and I’m…
My theory is that every time he messes with Woojin’s fate, he has to pay a price. His art is his life, so it’s like saying a life for a life? His trips to the past are also linked to his art, so it kinda makes sense. I think he will gladly choose Woojin over his art future to save his life, since that’s the past he regrets the most and hasn’t been able to move on from all these years later. I think the Universe is giving him a chance, but he will have to make a choice. I do wonder if that choice is just a test and he’ll get to keep it in the end because he showed his selflessness, or if it is a permanent loss in some way for him… I am hopeful that he is successful in saving Woojin, though. I need them together in the present.
The acting is indeed awkward. It’s like an actor playing an actor playing an actor, if you get what I mean? Expressions and interactions all feel a bit forced, except that NC scene in Ep2. Maybe because the lights were low and they didn’t have to speak much…? I’m hoping it improves. So far no one truly acts like these two have been romantically involved for 7 years- or, should I say, convinces me these two were in love for so long. Even mom and sis seem like they’re reading from a script.
And the barista? I don’t like his character. Seems obviously written as a guy who wants the two to break up so he can have Haneul so he skirts the line on someone he knows is in a relationship…maybe. Seems like he’s gonna take advantage of the fact that he doesn’t remember and pursue him. This is what makes me dislike him.
Bromance. Suggestive. But the empower is old enough to be his dad and he turns 18 during the course of the show…so…
I’m aware. Still, I was like *hm*. My main issue was the horrendous subtitles. One minute His Highness calls the emperor Father, and the next the emperor says he has no son? The translation… That’s just one example out of so many.
Not really. I’d say bromance leaning toward BL- one-sided. One has feelings for the other but the other is oblivious of it and likes a girl. There are triggers in this: Human trafficking, drugs, rape, and murder.
