oh my gosh same, I’m really struggling to watch ep9 of don’t be too emotional, it’s so...boring and super…
Absolutely! I ended up 10 sec skipping through the entire episode- that’s when I knew it was time to drop. Even a good looking actor can’t save a bad drama. It’s like My Gooden Blood all over again. Just throw a topless Joss at viewers and they’ll ignore a subpar production, right? Same with DBTI. I’m not fooled.
The TENSION between both couples…🔥I’m really loving Ken and James (James and Ken…? who cares atp). Like, these two are inevitable.
But with that, I am curious how they’ll end this. One is an immortal and the other is human with what looks like some special abilities that are really rare. I wonder if James is part Nour, which is why he has this ability…? Just a wild out there thought.
After dropping Don’t Be Too Emotional and Knot, I’m glad Thailand dropped something of quality to replace them (I’m waiting for Mr. Kill to end before I binge).
Somebody help me understand why James was drinking blood? Is he a vampire?
James is the tall one. Ken was the one drinking the blood. Remember the first episode? He’s tried to die hundreds of times but can’t because he’s a Nour. But he’s one whose looking for a way to die. Rather than a vampire, he’s more like an immortal species called the Nour that consumes human energy- the best way to do so is through blood. But I wonder if they could “consume” this energy through other ‘intimate’ means…
The eyes were already in the bedroom, undressing and moving into foreplay by Ep2… The tension between these two is crazy! Plus the story has hooked me! What a combination! time for the weekly angst…
I’ve been binge watching this since yesterday and it’s such a fun showwww!!! The ratings don’t justify the…
For me, 7.9 is still a good rating. Shows that are under 7 are shows I approach with caution. I’m gonna give this a try and binge over the weekend because of Yunxi (even though he likes roles that break our hearts after sending us on emotional roller coasters).
The ending is open-ended (open to interpretation), not necessarily bad; it’s more…hopeful…? I think that’s the best way to describe it. There are relationships that feel a bit incomplete., so I think they could have done a spin off to focus on other characters, or a special episode to give viewers that definitive ending they were looking for- for those who were dissatisfied with the last few minutes of the ending (enough to say it’s a “sad” or “bad” ending). It’s very much worth the watch.

should i give it a try even though it has bad ending?

Finally resuming and am on ep 7 where he and Wenshu are talking about timelines and futures… It’s hard to watch knowing that there’s a 🐻 in the future.
