OMG I love Kajorn frfr! And Sky is just so cute! Boss really does fit his role as Pakin very well. Overall, im really enjoying this, especially with having read the manhwa. With 3 episodes to go, things are gonna heat up quite a bit! When Sun finally releases his pent up grief…Ima bawl like a little bitch.
I wonder if Dan is one of the brothers of that family. The way he shouted "Jane!" at Jane Patrick felt…
I was wondering about that too. Either he’s related somehow (maybe a brother or cousin?) or he’s the same age so would use first names based on culture. He knows a bit too much about what happened to B Jane in the States to be an outsider.
she’s been a really good actress all her life. if you haven’t checked out her other works definitely do so.…
Also Love of the Divine Tree, Fangs of Fortune, and The Diuble. She’s definitely a talent that will continue to grow. I’ve enjoyed the roles I’ve seen her in, so her being a FL is a great opportunity for her that she definitely deserves. And opposite HMH, who is one of my favorite male actors. I’m looking forward to finally watching this drama, which I’ve been highly anticipated forever (attempting to wait two I can binge it when it all airs).
I’m trying to be patient and wait until the series is done because I want to binge…but I’ve waited for this drama FOREVER it seems (HMH fan, here). With 6 episodes already out, I’m hoping it’s done dropping in a week- I know. Unlikely. But still. My patience is thin. I gotta stay out of these comments for sure. 😫😫😫
I just started Episode 3 but paused where L Jane is asking his little brother to use his phone. I was like, WHY?! Why would you implicate your brother like this?! And while questioning B Jane, why wouldn’t you ask about the LOCKETS WITH BLOOD?! Like, that’s my FIRST question. “WTF are these? And WHY do you have them?” Yup. My #1, mos important question. Why does L Jane avoid this question?… And if B Jane isn’t trying to hide anything, why doesn’t he share what the lockers are when he clearly KNOWS L Jane is suspicious about them after their discovery? Clear up the misunderstanding immediately to save the relationship. Clearly, he does not fully trust L Jane, despite the key necklace.
This episode was so loaded. So many what-ifs. I didn’t trust the Dan guy at all, and Put also has his own motives for casting doubt in L Jane’s mind- he clearly likes L Jane and wants him for himself. Of course that would make B Jane jealous and angry. And Dan may also have caught feelings for L Jane, too (E4 teaser). I was suspicious about him from his first entry- first, because Put introduced him, and second, because he is putting in this caring senior act while clearly his motive is to take B Jane down by any means necessary- he’s likely jealous of him or has been put in his place by him at some point.
I don’t know, but L Jane kind of brings some things on himself by jumping to conclusions based on what he’s heard from these two people and from the “victims” whom he actually discovers did the things they were brought down by. Tee embezzled, Joy cheated. Both went back on their contract with B Jane- he has dirt on them from what they asked help for, so why wouldn’t he expose them for breach of contract? And why does he trust Dan MORE than B Jane when he just met him, too? And knew even less about him other than what Put shared? While Put is backing Dan, his other friend Gap has been rooting for and supporting his relationship with B Jane from the beginning. So he is more influenced by Put than Gap?
From the teaser for next week, it appears as if some of what I suspected is true- at least with Dan. I don’t trust that guy. And as soon as L Jane said he would never go to B Jane for help, I KNEW he’d eat those words. Since he was beat up looking when he approaches B Jane in the pilot trailer, it seems like he’s gonna do so pretty quickly for his little brother, who looks like he got into some serious trouble with loan sharks or something- likely to fund his dream of becoming an idol (dance practice and his desire for a car like B Jane’s) or something like that. To save his family, he’s gonna go crawling to B Jane, and sing the called B Jane a piece of shit, and will likely keep rebuffing him, B Jane is gonna want his get-back. But I doubt he’ll truly hurt L Jane because he loves him in his own way. I also believe the turn comes for B Jane (where goes from honestly trying to win L Jane back to being the big bad contract-maker with him seen in the trailer) when he sees Dan and L Jane all cozy- but that’s just my wild guess after seeing the pilot trailer and episode 4’s teaser. I could be WAAAAAAY off base. It’s fun to guess, though.
Either way, it’s gonna be one hell of a ride. Clearky there will be a happy ending, but the road to it will be full of hair-pulling moments and hot af moments because B Jane is seductive af and the way he looks at L Jane… 🥵
