. Watching the first part of this series was genuinely so exciting because it felt new and fresh, especially coming…
In short, I agree with you. I felt like an NC scene was just out there to appease the viewers who watch just for Nc scenes. And don’t get me started on this particular NC scene- the positions don’t make sense. Sigh.

Title Don't Be Too Emotional Spoiler
So much with this episode… My biggest gripes are in the way LJane is to passive with the school bullies, how…
The pan out shows BJane on top and his leg is bent out, but LJane’s legs are closed between them. How does…it…go in when he’s got his legs fully closed? More believable if they had LJane on his stomach for that n positioning to work. They positioned them like M/F instead of M/M. It’s the details that matter and make a scene believable. (Someone correct me if I’m wrong. Even if BJane is stallion sized, it’s gotta feel uncomfortable being bent like that in that position if it’s even remotely possible by some divine intervention or something… LJane’s legs aren’t even a little open for it…Also, why are they trying so hard to make BJane this huge black flag? And a room that’s a copy of his condo being this big No-No Entry room? Sigh.

So much with this episode… My biggest gripes are in the way LJane is to passive with the school bullies, how he’s over-blaming himself about the allergy thing… And the awkward pauses in conversation. This is a common problem I’ve found for Thai dramas. Like, how come they can’t have conversations flow more naturally in SO many of the dramas I’ve watched to date? The pauses like they were all universally told to pause for effect or something- like they all have a small earpiece that someone is feeding them lines through before they speak, and they’re so focused on that that their body language also becomes a tiny bit stiff. Y’all get what I mean?

It feels like we’ve reached this stagnant level of character growth and story development in this series. It’s dropped in rating for me as a result. I still love Gap though. And I still need Jet to be curbed by his parents frfr. Based on the preview, it appears that Bro learns NOTHING. He gets on my nerves. (I bet Dan leaked the photos… I don’t know. I have an irrational dislike of Dan I guess). How are LJane’s parents SO oblivious?! So passive as parents. Useless.

As for Jaime, I think his Thai is better than most of the white actors cast in Thai dramas, who just feel cringe af. He’s this cute little surprise to the drama and I may end up just watching for him atp. Seems like his character development will make more sense than these two MLs.

…but my biggest head tilt of confusion comes from the NC scene- Not for the reasons everyone else is mentioning. For me, it’s purely anatomical. I get the emotional “growth” they were trying to convey in the scene.

I always find it amusing when actors are covered with a blanket during NC scenes when they’re supposed to be in the privacy of their own spaces. Just do item placement and camera angles. But I get it. I still always chuckle at the bedding though. Now for scenes where someone “may” walk in? I get it. (You know which dramas I’m talking about) But no one is walking into this restricted room, so why the blanket for a position that makes no sense anyway? sigh (the blankets are a personal pet peeve of mine that’s really just a slight “hm” instead of a true peeve. I don’t really watch BLs for the NC scenes- honest to whatever diety you believe in- Though if they’re well done, I can -and do- appreciate them. I like the lead up to romance more- the budding love, and the kisses- all ranges unless they’re those dead fish lips kisses- they may as well leave a kiss scene out and just focus on creating and maintaining that delicious tension instead. Long looks and body language that screams come hither that make me giggle into my pillow like an idiot.)

I’m gonna say in the spoiler what some of you are probably thinking with me… I hope I’m not alone, anyway.

This links to the same first episode…
Apparently the first episode is free on YT. The second one you have to go into their channel description and click on the paetron link- the second episode requires membership.

While I appreciate the need for small productions to earn money to sustain themselves, I’m so done paying for subscriptions for individual channels after paying for the Premium YT subscription, so I guess I’m taking this off my watchlist.

Every episode link in this thread so far links to the same one episode. And when I go to their actual channel, it’s that same episode plus a trailer and a teaser. idk

is this related to S-Line? Conceptually, I can see this one is more lighter than the K-drama. https://kisskh.at/756259-s-line
Irs like the screenwriter saw S-Line and let their imagination go wild- slap-stick Taiwanese BL style 😜

Lin Chia Kai seems slightly autistic, judging by the way he moves.Well, a Taiwanese "comedy" series. What…
Can I be the one to say that I actually dropped WUTSS? I felt it was lacking (my minority opinion). I’d put it about on a similar level as this one- maybe a notch higher because of the acting but lower because my expectations were not met with the story and what I feel was missed chemistry between the two leads (others saw it but I didn’t- not romantic. It felt like they were family, not romantic, which made it awkward for me. Yes, we were watching the same drama).

While this drama is not amazing, it’s slap-stick humor is amusing. If you approach it with this expectation adjustment, it’s where it should be. I do agree that the walking is…well, a choice. I can’t take it seriously. It’s definitely meant to be what it is- I doubt they were trying for depth when they wrote and produced it. It all feels as superficial as it’s supposed to, in my opinion. Not that I’m defending it. Not really. It’s something to pass the time with until it becomes too ridiculous to watch without being inebriated in some way.

The end credits are ridiculously long, I agree. With about a minute of opening credits, 6 minutes is unnecessary. It’s like they’re crediting literally everyone and anyone they can think of so as to not possibly offend.

Why does he WALK like that 😂 I can’t take it seriously. So awkward. It would fit better if he wore slacks, a sweater vest over a dress shirt, and a tie with thick-rimmed glasses and a cowlick. (Y’all can picture it, right?) The hoodie “uniform” is misplaced on him for some reason. Dear Stylist… 🤭 And Dawei with his no nonsense cop persona covering this awkward bug-fearing clean freak. 🪳😱😵I don’t know why it works. This show is so silly that I can’t take it seriously. 😜 I am interested in where the show takes us and how they go about it. It was nice of them to give us 4 episodes at once. And I’m glad they’re doing 2 per week instead of 1 because the episodes are actually pretty short, with about 6 minutes of credits (beginning and end) in a 25-29 minute episode.

This is slap-stick humor, so those who haven’t seen it yet should approach it with this in mind to adjust your expectations appropriately. 😊 It’ll be much more enjoyable this way. 👍🏽
