Bro. The way he whispered into Sui’s ear… 🤭He knew what he was doing, making sure to use all the breathy words- ain’t NO way he didn’t… The signals Harutora was sending to Sui through the whole episode. It’s like he fell for him almost immediately. He got CLOSER 🤭I’m dead!

Those peers of Sui’s need to get a wake up call. I kinda feel like they don’t know how to deal with him because he’s gay, but that they don’t necessarily not want to be friends with Sui. Because Sui isn’t a jerk and he’s kinda cute, even despite the tbh 😆 they say. I think the future flashbacks will show they were friends, or at least friendly, before he was outed.

And Harutora wasted NO time! He’s not gonna let a gem like Sui slip through his very hungry fingers 😉 and I’m here for it! The preview for next week has me looking forward to the next episode. So far, this has everything I love about JBLs. Putting boys who like each other in the same dorm room is a recipe for some…interesting…moments. 🤭🤫

Harutora is giving me School Trip Wataru vibes. Definitely not the passive obsessive into-him-types that my guys Takara from ‘Takara-kun to Amagi-kun’ and Takara from ‘Takara’s Treasure’. I’m liking these very sure of themselves and forward seme high school JBLs Japan is gifting us with lately. Not that I don’t absolutely LOVE the two dramas I mentioned- because I loved those two so much I bought their mangas (and Takara-kun to Amagi-kun is 8 books only in Japanese, which I don’t know). Though I’m not a HUGE fan of the uke in ‘After Moving Seats…’ and I’m on the fence about the one in ‘Popular Serizawa…’, I’m really loving the semes in both.

So many JBLs coming out. 🥰Makes me want to rewatch my faves…

He can’t stand that he thinks he caused something bad to happen to someone on accident. Like, I don’t think he would have enjoyed watching Krit experience bad luck for long either- he seems a bit too caring for that. Like, his attentiveness and how he cares for Khobfa can’t be a brand new trait suddenly developed because of an accidental curse. Krit and Mochi are toxic to him and I want them to fade away into the background. Every time they come on screen I want to forward through it. They did Rin so dirty and continue to be petty to him. I want to say to them: Leave him alone. You made your choice! Live with it. Ezpecially to Krit. Bro, you’re not all that.

Because he’s not over Rin at all. He’s projecting his own feelings onto Rin while watching him all the time. He wants the same attention Rin is giving Khobfa for himself.

I agree. Both are assholes for pretending to be together to break up Krit and Rin AND for choosing Rin’s birthday to do it. I dislike them immediately for that. It’s a shitty thing to do to someone you say you care about. Is Rin oblivious to Krit’s needs? Yes. But he could have done the break up more privately. And without using another friend to do it. Especially since their relationships are complicated from high school. Mochi is a desperate guy who is willing to insert himself however he can because of his unrequited long-term crush. I can’t be on their side. And I don’t care about their love journey as a result, so I skip through their alone scenes. Bye toxic-to-Rin couple.

He does. Krit is still sprung on Rin, clearly. He keeps watching Rin and attributing his behavior to not being over Krit. But Rin hasn’t spared Krit much thought at all. I think Krit secretly wanted Rin to realize the error of his ways and run back to him. He’s seeing Rin give all the attention HE wanted in the relationship to Khobfa and it clearly bothers him. I bet he tries to get back together with him, thinking Rin still wants him and will give him the attention he’s giving Khobfa.

I feel like Krit thinks too highly of himself- like he believes absolutely that Rin won’t be able to get over him quickly, even though HE was the one to ask Rin out in the first place, and it seems like HE has always been more “invested” in the relationship than Rin.

And Mochi is also a bit annoying, in my opinion. He’s desperate for Krit to see him as a love interest and not just a decoy for breaking up with Rin- yet he was willing to be the decoy in the first place in hopes of showing Krit he would be a good fit. It’s kind of messed up for them to do Rin like that- especially on his birthday. I don’t think I can like them no matter what because of that. It’s a shitty thing to do to a love interest or a friend. I skip through their alone scenes as a result because I don’t care about them at this point.

Both think Rin is sprung on Krit, when Rin has barely given his ex any thought and is only focusing on Khobfa. I think Krit is a bit jealous because of the seemingly selfless attention Rin is lavishing on Khobfa. He wanted that attention for himself. I have a feeling he will see this and eventually try to get back with Rin because he’s not over him yet. But Rin is already falling for Khobfa, though he doesn’t know it yet.

I agree. I don’t think he fits the role. he is younger than his co-lead but looks much older. He doesn’t look like a high school student. I felt the same way in Takara’s Treasure. The semes in both fit their manga characters though. I’ve been trying to ignore the acting and the mismatch. I think I’d prefer it if they gave him a role where he’s in a workplace setting- it would fit better for my brain. (he apparently played a support role in Therapy Game, but I don’t remember him.)

The gym scene was crazy- bro has NO shame and I’m here for it. I like that they didn’t water down “teenage boy” hormones too much to be unbelievable here. The balcony scene- bro wanted to do more than just sniff…🤭

In the end, I read both mangas, so I’m looking forward to how this plays out in live action.

The original manga finishes it off quite nicely. I highly recommend it 😊

The stalker bus guy is WAY creepier. The stuff where Taishin’s trying to figure out what kind of “like” he feels toward Takara is way different (he’s accidentally drunk, not sick)- there are more sweet moments/conversations between the two as a result. No lost kid or fireworks, but there IS a piggyback ride. Did I mention the bonus chapter?! They’re super cute as a couple- I wonder why they didn’t keep it more to the original and cleaned it up so much…?

I still enjoyed the live action, but I’m lk hoping a more “daring” production picks it up for a less censored version more true to the book because the story flows well as originally written and the ending feels more realistic for two college boys and more “closed”.

OMG For those who enjoyed this drama, I purchased and just binge-read the manga and…damn. It’s cute and sweet and funny and HOT 🥵🔥 (The bonus chapter…). My mind wonders how the actors would have handled such scenes…
