Oh my God, I’m in LOVE with this already!!! 🥰😍🥰😍🥰😍🥰😍🥰😍🥰😍 10 episodes won’t be enough, I already know it. I’d love to find out that Watarai’s friends are helping him get close to Hioki because they know he likes him (ridiculously obvious to anyone with eyes). And it’s honestly one of the only believable explanations for the most popular group to invite a class loner into their group. I’d love to see the group’s conversation about inviting Hioki in. I hope we get it.
Damn. I was thoroughly entertained. The story, the plot twists and turns… The bonds built and tested. I loved the bond between the emperor and Zhang Ping. Zhang Ping had that childlike belief in justice winning over everything that he struggled with understanding how people in power could be corrupted, or not stand up for justice in the face of clear wrongs. The last statement from Shulin to him hit different, and showed his awareness of the “gray”.
Although I wanted something different for Shulin, it makes sense how it ended.
And the bromance. My BL heart kept thinking those long glances carried more than just “bro”fection. I’ll let my mind live in delulu-ville because the chemistry was chemistrying for me. Some scenes felt like clear jealousy, all centered around our poised and elegant Minister Lan. I know it’s not based on a censored same-sex novel; I know it’s not BL- I just don’t care.
Your comment is making me want to wait to watch today’s episode until next week. I only did this one other time…
It really was- I’m finding out. I am a newish BL fan (Jan 2024) and have consumed hundreds of BLs since then. But I only recently watched The Untamed, putting it off because of the episode count and my ever-growing watchlist. But when I finally watched it (last month)? It really is addicting. I can’t get enough. China bromance hits harder than most full BLs. And the few Chinese full BLs that make it out? Gold (I’m thinking of Revenged Love, Kill to Love, and ABO Desire). The Untamed is like heroin though. Truly- the episode count means nothing (I’ve rewatched it once already).
I'm about to drop a different currently airing Thai show that's got a high score on MDL because I dislike it so…
You’re SO real for that. Keng watching grass grow for 8 hours…or him just reading a book. Or taking a nap. Really, the man is fine af. Like, it’s unreal. Those eyes hook you and reel you in so well you don’t even care about the hook. And him in those hazel contacts? Sweet gods! 🥵🫠
KHEMJIRA!!!!! WHAT KIND OF ENDING WAS THAT????? YOU SONS OF......(deep breaths.... Deeeeep breaths....) I swear…
Your comment is making me want to wait to watch today’s episode until next week. I only did this one other time based on comments and I was glad I did because some cliffhangers are too much for my mental state (it was the episode Master goes in to kiss Khem for the first time, but ends right before their lips make contact- I waited so was spared the 7 day angst).
I disagree. The FL is not useless or impulsive, and is actually smart, just not brilliantly intelligent as the…
I an actually glad the story isn’t built around their romance. The romance is a small part of the story that adds enhancement when needed, but otherwise is a background character. I prefer this in significantly longer series.
can anyone help me with these questions?1. From the trailer, it looks quite dark. I’m wondering if the show…
1. There are quite a bit of funny and lighthearted moments. It’s pretty balanced. 2. A good amount of fighting, but also a good amount of sleuthing. It’s balanced. 3. Yes.
The twists and turns had me hooked! I figured out some parts but was floored with others. The villain I realized late but before the reveal- I was just in denial until the reveal. I didn’t want it to be that person AT ALL. I was hella entertained. I wish there was a second season.
What I especially liked was that it didn’t get bogged down with romance. I appreciate the focus remained on the plot and mystery rather than the ML and FL’s relationship- the relationship supported the story, but it was like a 3rd couple, if you get my meaning.
The way this “princess” Takabayashi keeps slapping guys- why no one has slapped him back is beyond me. Instead, they view it as the start of a challenge to win or a confirmation of their crush…? What the actual F?! Whose brain did this ooze from?! My crush hits me and it’s not ending with looks of surprise and acceptance as if I deserve that. Especially the reserved roommate, Yoshizawa.
This series is as shallow-but-wanting-to-be-deeper as its predecessors. I keep coming back, hoping each new rendition is better, only to be disappointed and very mildly distracted each Sunday. I’m going to push through though. It’s a tradition for me at this point.
OMG I finally found the time to finish this and I gotta say, I love these two. I especially loved the ending interview and Jimmy’s- I mean Thap’s high pitched giggle. 🤭 I died, it was so cute and cheesy at the same time. I hope we don’t have to wait a long time for another series with them.
I don't know y'all. How TF does Keng get EVEN MORE attractive?! Him with hazel eyes was something I didn't know I needed. Sweet gods that was some eye candy right there.
And that rooftop scene is no joke. Amazing acting by Namping for sure. And Green is killing Ramphueng. I totally get her, though. Still rooting for all our characters to make it out safely on June 6th.
