Well ep2 kinda confirm that Sei and Fuji are couple in platonic love relationship, not really just a roomate.
Do you see "love" in their relationship? I don't know... I think they are definitely more then friends but I don't know if they consider themselves a couple. I think they are stuck in between because of the promise Fujisawa made to Sei.
On When It Rains, It Pours Jan 18, 2025
I just watched the episodes again and Fujisawa confuses me. The first time we see him interact with Sei he sits on his bed, touch his cheek and says goodnight. When Sei touch his hand he reject him gently. The next episode we see him helping Sei drying his hair. He seems a bit jealous when Sei talks about other people (unknown to them it's the same person both times, Hagiwara), he tells him he shouldn't change because he likes him the way he is. I don't know if he's scared of intimacy because he willingly touches Sei but he looked genuinely scared when Sei suggested sex. We also see a short flashback of Sei on his knees, promising to never bring it (sex, I guess) up again.
I have to say I'm intrigued about the partners motives as much as the leads future romance right now ๐Ÿ˜‚

It seems like Shino (the gf) is only affectionate when there are other people around (the arms around the neck)…
I just watched the two episodes again and I don't think she doesn't initiate contact. She sat between his legs in the first scene of the first episode. In another scene she took his hand to fix his nail. In both scene, when he was clear he wanted more she indirectly rejected him. If it wasn't for the lack of sex I would say they are a happy couple. I think there something more behind her behavior.

I was screaming for 5 minutes "Po! What are you doing? Invite him inside!".
As usual, I was left a blushing mess by these two. How can I live my life knowing I'm never going to find someone as romantic as Thame? This show should be studied at school. We need to educate people on the art of romanticism!

I guess people are virtue-signalling, just in case there might be cheating and they are "caught" enjoying the…
Cheating must be the most controversial theme in this place. It gets people really upset. I mean, we have killers in another show and no one cares ๐Ÿ˜‚

It's a jdrama, they can put so much in 5 episodes. We don't really how they are going to end up together. I guess I'm just confused at people being so angry

Title When It Rains, It Pours Spoiler
This is really interesting. I actually would like to see the partners' pov. Has something happened to Hagiwara's girlfriend? She seems affectionate with him but has been avoiding sex for a year?
What about Sei's friend? In the last episode looked like he was actually scared when Sei suggested sex. Also, I can understand why Sei think of himself as a parasite. Looks like he lives in Kazuaki's house, follows his rules and lifestyle. He has no other friends and has no life outside this non-relationship. Do we know how long has it been?

It's just a trope to put the mc in the same house so they can fall in love faster. Just like in Perfect 10 Liners…
In this case they are both adults and they were strangers before living together. I think it's the less weird scenario for this trope.

Why are they always stepbrothers?? I'm guessing it's fan service but is there really nothing else they can think…
It's just a trope to put the mc in the same house so they can fall in love faster. Just like in Perfect 10 Liners and in Eternal Butler. If they don't work together or go to the same school, how else are they going to get to know each other in a short amount of time?
On ThamePo Heart That Skips a Beat Jan 3, 2025
Two episodes in a row I've been rendered a blushing mess by Thame's romanticism, and they are not even dating yet! How can Po and I not fall in love with this guy?? Now I need to see Thame's pov. Like, does it also take him 20 tries before he's able to send a message to Po? I know he's already fallen but I need something more.

Did Dohoe ever become an Architect? How can he afford a nice place where heโ€™s living and all those fancy clothes…
Teachers that works in Hagwons are paid very well. The more popular you are, better the pay.

I don't usually like flashbacks, but the images DH saw of his happy memories with JY while they were fighting made me tear up.
Also, the contrast between their first time and their "second" first time made me sad. They were so carefree as kids. I don't know if as adults they were really in the moment.

Like to my star, I think this is one of those series that it's better on a second watch. Right now we don't have all the pieces to fill the puzzle (which is DH past) so it's still a little confusing. I don't even know where to look for the pieces but I bet after the show ends they'll be very visible, since the director likes the "show, don't tell" approach.
On Perfect 10 Liners Oct 27, 2024
Sometimes I don't understand myself. Like many already said, it's really similar to We are which I dropped after 10 minutes. It also reminds me of Fourever you, which until now it's an ok show. But this one, I really enjoyed the first episode. I had no expectations since I always start a series knowing as little as possible about it, and I just found out they all have the same director, but somehow I like this better than the other two.
Do you guys think I should give We are another chance? I think I stopped watching because it wasn't my kind of humor.

Title Kidnap
I was reading the comments about Leng's acting and the usual response is "it's his first role". I read this excuse so many times for so many actors in Thai bls so I have to ask, why do they make rookies debut in a leading role? Shouldn't they start as supporting characters to make some experience? Is there a specific reason? It must be difficult for these actors being criticized so much. And that's inevitable. People are going to notice when someone is not good.

the acting was so bad, all I could see was sexual harassment all over my screen! ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜… Nothing sexy!
I agree. I actually felt so uncomfortable I didn't even last 10 minutes after starting the second episode. To pull off this type of character the actor has to have at least a bit of charisma, I didn't feel anything but cringe here.
