Here is what I understand. The Fl father and ML mother were married before. But ML mother was cheating or something with FL father. Thus he is the son of the guy who tried to kill him. Now the guy who died in the car with ML (MLs his fake father) is the father of the FL. So they MLs and FLs parents were screwing each other and none of them knew. Anyways after ML mother died and FL father died the remaining mother and father of the FL and ML married. So now we have FL mother still alive and married to MLs father. PS. YES S3 ending was rushed. S3 was so good and it was the final season. They didn't give the end of the show the time it deserved.

I don't agree with you or disagree. True each season was wrapped up in different styling but in the end it was amazing. you can't blame them s1 was made a while back. They didn't expect to make s2 or even S3 back then. so give them credit for making a great show instead of making a horrible one.
