I don't think it's GYJ's fault, she did the best she could with a spineless and bland character she was given; she was directed that way. She was screwed over while JSM was given a meaty and multi-faceted character in P1. I don't think even JSM could have saved Part 2 Naksu since the writing was to blame.
GYJ is best suited to intense, conflicted and tragic characters (she at least seems to pick such characters given her filmography). P1 EP 1 Naksu fit right into her ballpark, but the Part 2 character was a pretty damsel with not much to do. You can see the intensity coming back briefly after a certain storyline comes to a merciful end, but she's again screwed over in the finale. GYJ herself was surprised in a BTS that she has to stand behind Uk, saying 'But I'm Naksu!'. Part 2 was a mess

I liked her work too, and she is already a veteran and the new actress is rookie and has only been in the acting world for three years, people have to understand that too. I also liked Go Youn Jung.
