The S2 was an absolute disaster. Disappointing on all fronts.

S1 was perfection. Loved it, especially because of the intelligent characters and interesting plot.
In s2, we have a paper-thin plot, that’s dragged out unnecessarily long. They were quick on the take in s1, in s2 they lost half their QI (Uk).
I mean, they had an amnesia trope and damsel in distress tropes and all kinds of nonsense.

Even if that was the idea of the writers, it was poorly executed. And the characters were all ruined.

The building of their relationship, was the only thing they needed to do right, but they ended up making the biggest mess.

I thought what the screenwriters did with Jang Uk's character was horrible. And not just in love, but in his character in general.
In my opinion he should fall in love knowing that she was Naksu, with another type of script, It didn't have to be written the way it was, it could have been written differently and better, it was a BIG fail on their part for him to fall in love with (someone else). It could have been a great epic romance, but that was not the case in S2.

The actress change was necessary for the story to make sense, it was the story the sisters wanted to tell. I continue to think what ruined the show was the bad writing... and bad decisions throughout the story.....

ElBee I said this to someone that pt 2 was very poorly written and that it didn't deserve recognition and the person told me this: "There is no separation. Just because they aired in different times doesn't mean it's not the same work. The judges nominated the whole story."

If you're talking about the script for the first season I believe you, but the script for the second season was poorly written and confusing... There are so many people who have already complained about it...
