Well i dont have a problem with lying and cheating if it keep the character interesting. In Linan case, nothing about her is interesting, which is why i said GP is better because atleast she have intergrity. As a matter of fact, some of my most loved characters are all liars and cheating, but they are all smart and capable, which Linan is not. She is fine as a comedy sidekick, but as a main character she is a chore to watch.

well for once, she didnt torture ML to make him submit to her. She also have integrity, which FL does not possess as FL lies and cheat to get her way. You are right that neither add much to the story, but one is side character and the other is a main character.
