I think TV dramas tend to sometimes exaggerate the profession that the show tries to portray. yes some doctors are really busy, but they are still human. They have their personal lives and families. My sis in law is a doctor and she's off every weekend and holidays. I think it's the path that you choose and finding the balance. Not every doctor lives at the hospital like how TV dramas show it.
