I agree about the acting of Kiak and Kun. However, just because it's a love story between "two old guys" (both…
This series is not a continuation from the prequels. They changed here several things. So it's like two parallel universes or timelines. But because of these small changes, everyone, me included, is confused because it's the same story and at the same time it's not. With these small changes, they made a big mess. It's just a big mess. I don't know if the rings are in this timeline too.
Yes, in the prequels, the two main leads were way more emotionally mature. The prequels feel completely different because the director is different and screenwriters too I think.
As for the stretching of the timeline, yes, they are doing it and filling it with stuff we don't care about.
I assumed there was something about Lue's hands, as he wears gloves all the time. Turns out, there's nothing wrong with his hands. So it's just a fashion choice lordy
Also, someone in the production team is a fan of Irreversible (2002) movie with Monica Bellucci and Vincent Cassel, that's where that shower curtain scene is from.
Another ālips pressing lipsā kiss that I have watched few month ago is JiuTian kiss in āto sir with loveā.…
Regarding high expectations, I made the mistake of expecting the same sophistication that was in prequels. They were so well done and emotionally mature.
So to come from that to *this*....... and this series will still be one of the year's best, mostly the comments online are positive. It still stands out, even with all the standard bl shenanigans. People are raving about it, and they have good reasons for it. But I'm still sad for the prequels.
Overall I'm happy with the ep, at least Nan got some emotional healing and answers, though Phu literaly had to be unconscious for this to happen. So at least this night Nan will get a good night sleep and some very needed rest. (though if I were Nan, I'd be on a date with Party by now :) )
Kiak is actually doing it all, I mean he is funny, adorable, handsome and even his cry scene is good, but the…
I agree about the acting of Kiak and Kun. However, just because it's a love story between "two old guys" (both in their early 30s I think) it doesn't automatically mean they have experience. They could be late bloomers. Or maybe it's bad writing and directing idk.
Phu barely moved his lip when he kissed Nan. Just didnāt feel right at all. Feel like Kun didnāt give all…
Regarding the kiss, yeah it was stifled, amateurish and cartoonish. I can interpret it many ways: 1. Incompetent/indiferent director. 2. if they are both sexually inexperienced and or this is for both of them their first kiss, then it makes sense, first times are awkward and weird. 3. even if they have prior experience and Phu has all this longing and yearning and suffering in silence, it could have been shock of actually getting what he wants. Or because he is used to supressing himself, he doesn't flip in an instant and show all his true emotions, even though like I said, he's getting what he desires.
I think the most likely reason is no.1. No.2 and no.3 give way too much credit to this clown of a production company.
