A Messy Predictable Story

This story has so much physical violence that I found it difficult to watch.

Me Ri's ex Ju's (Bum June} role was overdramatic and totally unrealistic She would never have stayed in a 5 year relationship with that Asshole. She would have had a retraining order on him. His mother and sister' behaviour would have chased Me Ri away. Me Ri reaction to tolerating his return should have been harsher. Me Ri's image was trashed with this portrayal.

Violence towards women. This is disgusting behaviour that producers seem to like perpetuating in their shows. Its not funny and its out of date. Woo Ju and his family degraded the script with this behaviour.

The interaction between new Ju (Woo Shik) and Me Ri was sweet. The romantic side lacked any depth of emotion for me. The script smothered Jung So Min's acting ability.

The obsession with correcting dishonesty before the story ends is outdated. Just look at the world we live in. Some of the most successful and wealthy people have skeletons in there closet and did not follow societal norms to get there. What Me Ri did was gaming the system. I do not judge her negatively for that. She was an opportunist, an important skill for advancing in Society.

The highlight for me was when Me Ri met the cactus.
