can someone pls explain the last ep ??? She died, didn't she? So why did she come back and act as if they didn't…
I think its like in another universe everyone got a happy ending, like if your going to analyze what happened after she died. Everything seems to fall in its right place.
why people are so harsh at giving rating for jdrama in mdl T_T 7.7 is too low... this show deserves higher rating!!
I guess some are first timer in watching the chihayafuru universe. Or partially there harsh rating is based on per episode idk.... But this still has some chances since its not yet completed.
Seems like it's a bit old. Is it still worth watching? What's the story about?
🧠Premise: Park Sun‑Woo (Lee Jin‑wook), a successful TV anchorman, learns that his older brother died under mysterious circumstances in Nepal. At the funeral, he inherits a magical incense stick. When he lights it, he is transported 20 years back to the snowy slopes of the Himalayas. Shortly after, he discovers nine magical incense sticks—each sending him back 20 years in time for exactly 30 minutes—allowing him nine opportunities to change the past and thus reshape the present.
🔄 Story Arc: Sun‑Woo attempts to save his brother, protect his family, and expose a corrupt businessman responsible for past tragedies. But every well-intentioned change in the past causes unintended consequences—altering relationships, destinies, and his own future in unpredictable ways.
As he uses more incense sticks, reality shifts around him. Lives he tried to save may no longer exist, and loved ones may not recognize him. With only nine attempts, he races against time to fix his mistakes before all is lost.
I hope all episodes will be released, plot-wise, though some aspects are already common for a Chinese Republican Drama. Watched it because of Zhang Yi Jie; I've been loving his acting skills since Prince of Tennis. Hope he gets more projects.
Finished the last episode, what an ending, left with lots of questions unanswered.
1. What happens to Bambi as she becomes the new MUSE of Devi? 2. Will Diesel and Dream be able to reconcile and be together? 3. What will Tokyo do with her current life? 4. Is there a chance for Bambi and Mhong to mend their friendship? 5. Will Pure and Bambi ever get back together again?
I'm a little confused by the connection between Bai Li and her two sons, Feng Ju and Feng Chang. So, she was the…
In ancient times, a prince's rank was determined not just by birth order, but also by legitimacy and the status of his mother. While Feng Chang is technically the eldest of the princes and would have been first in line for the throne, he was born when Bai Li held no official title—not even as a concubine. Because of this, Feng Chang was never granted a higher status.
It's not that the king forgot who his firstborn was, but he was bound by longstanding royal rules and traditions that dictated rank and succession. These rules required him to consider the legitimacy of a child's birth and the mother’s position at the time.
Feng Lanxi, as the son of the king and the legal queen, was automatically granted the title of crown prince and recognized as the legitimate heir. Meanwhile, Feng Ju holds a higher rank than Feng Chang because he was born after Bai Li had already been formally recognized as a concubine and later elevated to queen.
Finished watching the movie. Plot-wise, not something that was tackled, but I guess somehow there were some parts that I consider lacking, but not the child and the father portrayal, because that was really great and heart-wrenching with those heavy scenes. I loved how Lay did his part as the character is centered to deaf people. Loved the whole concept but I hope that there was some interaction with the child and father in the ending when Mumu has become an adult.
She's got way better chemistry with that guy she went for advice to.. Though I didn't get why she had to wait…
That's how it works by asking advice in return the guy will be asking for something rare that he doesnt have yet. As for the queing there is a lot of fans who wants to interact with him and also his a uprince ambassador that;s why.
Even though I knew that this was also giving me MJTY vibes and that ZYZ had hinted at it at the start of the drama, I kind of expected a different ending just to see if it would be different.
Despite Che Duling's flawless portrayal of the goddess, I was a little let down by it. It appears that her character doesn't grow in a way that would have greatly benefited the team as a whole because they all had life blunders, challenges that they attempted to face together, and flashbacks to their past. besides coordinating with ZYZ and ZYC and recovering the Baize Token. There are very few if any, instances where the Goddess manages to live and defend herself on her own; instead, she appears to be in constant need of rescue.
I sobbed uncontrollably from episode 30 till the very end due to the intense moments and character deaths (Yinglei, Bai Jiu, Qing Geng, Fei, Lilun, and Zhao Yuan Zhou).
After watching episode 17 yesterday. I realized the plot is perfect and character-wise to all actors, almost everything has been revealed yet there's more yet to be uncovered from the characters. I'm waiting for their dark aura and the changes until the last episode gets updated.
I just finished watching the whole series. It had a great story plot, and the characters were good at portraying their roles and looking forward to the 2nd season.
I recently watched the first episode. Expecting to see a lot more action scenes later on. The vibes were kinda same with "My Journey to You" from the set up of the theme, costume, and makeup. But Plot wise "Fangs of Fortune does have its own feels as well.
Zhao Yuan Zhou impressed me a lot, from the fight scene with Zhuo Yi Chen to the comedic scene with Wen Xiao. Can't wait to see more interactions with all of the cast combined.
