OK so here's the thing, first of all based on my knowledge, Charlie didn't really die secondly, only charlie and Jeff knew abt the plan and if u r thinking abt how babe's power returned or how they managed to fool the doctors, there's a certain individual that has the power to like stop someones heart smth like dt and my guess is that Charlie and Jeff used the opportunity that Dean created to finalize their plan and i feel like since Jeff could see the future, he prob knew what Dean was planning so they used that to their advantage. And babe's power went back to him cause the accident really happened and according to the novel, charlie was in a sort of coma but they had external help that stopped his heart for a while so that it could fool the doctors and babe got his power back cos charlie was really close to death he just didn't completely die. So you know how Jeff stayed behind after the hospital scene, he planned it with the other person so they could take Charlie to his house cos no one know's that person except tony maybe and then there was no one in the graveyard they did for the burial thing. And Kim's reappearance happened because after Way told Tony dt Charlie has Babe's power, Jeff saw the future and already knew they would come for them so Jeff already went to Tony beforehand and made a deal with Tony. And the deal was that if Tony releases Kim, he would bring Charlie to him. And abt the prison thingy, yh they mentioned d police investigated but i feel like a part of Alan still believes Dean and if it was later confirmed that Dean broke the break, i dunno maybe they'll just leave it cause what ever Dean did to the car wasn't enough for that accident to happen. I feel like the series won't say anything abt that lmao And yh Dean really should go to jail tho he attempted to murder Babe. And as for Tony, they currently don't have enough evidence to put him to jail because he has money and power and all this race sabotages aren't directly involved to him so it's not strong evidence the only evidence they could use to get him was the human trafficking evidence that's y this whole plan is alive. Some of yall r saying Charliebabe's romance was not having enough slow-burn but when step by Step came out, you ppl still complained that the slow burn was too slow. And atp, you guys shouldn't expect too much from all these producers I guess cause the novel was great so it's not the writer's problem. And all of you criticizing Pooh, if you really read the novel, you would know that Pooh is actually perfect for Charlie's role and Nut is perfect as Way. I love Nut(we all do lmfao) but reading the novel, Nut doesn't give off the novice-innocent behaviour that Charlie was supposed to give in the novel. And yh Pooh's acting might seem off but he is actually good tho. Seeing him act, you would know that he isn't experienced but he is doing a really decent job.
