From my standpoint of being a hopeless romantic, since the first season spent so much time building up this "great love", him falling in love with Bu Yeon (not knowing it's Naksu, because he thinks he's someone else) in episodes 1-8 really decreased the "great love". On the one hand, in real life you don't expect someone to mourn a loss for the rest of their life, but in drama land I think there's a different standard - if it's a great love, it should be so great that nothing can take its place. THEN, in episodes 9 and 10 he went back to loving Naksu!
