mmm there is one scene where the brother screams he is an adult and belongs to himself. i found it quite hard to watch and was triggering for me too because I have campaigned for autistic adults to be treated like adults, instead of children. But I would also like to add that without this scene his development wouldn't have felt as earned because he does achieve the respect and independence he wants (in my opinion).

I finished this today and I think the brother does have a very nice arc, especially in the later episodes. Autism is such a diverse condition and there are bits that I felt could have been improved but I also think they did a good job to show him as a unique individual, who grows and has individual desires. His growth is subtle so the individual clips wouldn't show it but by the end, for me, he has made the most outstanding achievements. I would recommend it, yes, but please do note it is not a perfect depiction.
