On Start Up Together Nov 27, 2024
Currently watching this on the only place iQiyi. For some reason the first episode has no Eng subs, but luckily the rest seem to be AI translated to English. I just watch the first ep like that and got a general idea

On GO into Your Heart Aug 28, 2024
It started off well for me and got me out of a slump, but half way through I honestly got bored, especially with the Go player pursuing the sister of the FL. His scenes are so annoying, he really has no purpose. He is drawn to the sister like a moth to a flame. Am half way through the show and he hasn't made any progress to his goal of improving his Go skills. All he does is follow the sister around; she wanted to go to Shangai, he decided to quit his job and follow her, even with his financial situation; he saw her driving in the car with the other guy, he decides to follow them, disregarding all traffic rules and ends up crashing; he sees her working with the other guy, he decides to stalk her at the office several times, and when he gets in, disrupts a meeting and everyone thinks it's funny. I've been fast forwarding through his scenes up to this point, but when I saw he ends up being more than a side character, I got bored at the thought of seeing more of his antics.
I loved the main couple, from FL developing feeling sfor ML slowly even though she started off liking another person. It was organic and didn't feel forced.
I read that there is a compressed version, I might look for that and watch it.

Please tell me that the sister doesn't end up with that extra, unnecessary character who just randomly showed…
Just started watching this, that 'extra' is really annoying. Wanted to confirm if she ended up with him coz am half way through and there are signs she ends up picking him. So far he hasn't even made any progress on his goal of learning Go, and all his actions are just annoying.

Its not a bl drama.
it's actually a bl, if you have watched till the end. The ending confirms it, but while watching it, it feels like it's not one

Person Zhao Jin Mai
She went through the trouble of going through that much plastic surgery, and she chose to copy after that ugly…
I honestly don't give two fucks if she has done plastic surgery, I think she looks gorgeous and she has that innocent look going for her. As for her acting, I think she is great in what I've seen of her so far. What put her on my radar was "Reset", what a fantastic show.
She is just 21, when did she get that "much plastic surgery" done...

I loved this drama, the FL was so unpredictable and bold, and her acting was on point, especially the two parts. Since it was the first time I was seeing her, at some point I felt like they were really twins.

it's a natural reaction not frustrating at all especially in fantasy drama where everything is based on writer's…
What I love about most Kdramas is that usually secrets are revealed early on, since most are usually one season. This has clearly dragged on for certain plot points, and I find that frustrasting, and am willing to bet, they both realise they are from the future in like the 14th episode or end of 13th. And he kept calling Cheong Ah, "Umma" for a while and Yi Chan, "appa", that was annoying. Cheong Ah's dad is a stranger, so ofcourse he couldn't call him Haraboji.

I love the show but it drags a lot and that can be frustrating. I remember at the beginning how long it it took for Eun Gyeol to finally meet his mum, and now, 12 episodes in, Eun Gyeol and Eun Yu still haven't realised they are both from the future. Eun Gyeol was also annoying everytime he called his parents from the past as mum or dad. The first few times made sense, but after a while, it was just frustrating to hear.
With all that said, I think the acting is great, it's just that it's one of those shows where the plot keeps dragging.

Title I Am Nobody
I honestly only started watching this for Jiang Pei Yao (Xia He) after I saw a clip of her in the drama, so I had no expectations, but am glad I did. The zombies at the start weren't really doing it for me but I loved the story, and after a while I've grown to love the drama, and now Wang Ying Lu (Bao Bao) is my new favorite actress, I just love her acting here, her motionless expressions, the way she talks and walks, its just so intriguing and she is just full of surprises.
